ZT makes great knives

The ZT 562 feels like a Hinderer XM-18, because the XM-18 is “overbuilt” like a ZT. It was a natural pairing between Hinderer and ZT. There weren’t many modifications to make a ZT production knife out of the Hinderer custom design. I’m very happy over the last 4-5 years that ZT has made effort to fit into the edc market that most of us live in. I love their “overbuilt” models, and continue to keep and love them, but for edc, I’m glad they came around.

This is also a knife I’ve had my eye on for a while but never pulled the trigger on. Lately ZT seems to be just slightly missing the mark, at least for me.

You should really try the 0462 its bigger with more handle room and the CF version is very light

I had the CF version and it was also in 20CV. Great nice just did not carry it often. I learned the Persian style blade shape is not for me.

Just ordered this in Ti for 171.99$, which is a price I couldn't resist for a USA made titanium knife. My next purchase will be the Chaves Lee Williams Kickstop. I have the TAK, and now I want the big brother.

I love Sinkevich designs (my dream is the ZT 0470) but this one is too curvy ;) I'm more ZT 0452CF but already over my purse for now, maybe someday, when my leathercraft activity will get better ;) thank you for sharing Jake always interesting and instructive :)
