The metal ball made in India is a potpourri ball. Land's End is headquartered in Dodgeville, WI. Their clothing is a little cheaper than LL Bean but about the same quality. Land's End merchandise is not cheap and NOT found in Walmart. The company was acquired by Sears many years ago. I don't know if they are still owned by Sears or the Sears Holding Company. They don't have the resale presence LL Bean does, though. I live in WI and see their stuff all the time, and it's seldom worth picking up. You go into any thrift store within 30 miles of Dodgeville and it's full of Lands End rejects and returns. 😅

Lands End, the Blake Shelton line, is not a low end brand. I buy Lands End for resell and personal use, and they make quality clothing, maybe not as good as they once were, but still good. Much better than Walmart, Target, Kohls, etc. Hope that helps! Dawn

First, you might consider renting the empty booth across from yours. One side home stuff. The other side garage & outside. Second, Lands End is a quality brand. Renting the opposite booth is a great idea. Everytime the camera gets turned around the booth across gets featured. Seems like a good opportunity and Karens idea of having diferent themes for each sounds good from a staging point of view.

Sears is a relatively new relationship. Handling returns, and a small line sold in their stores. If Sears doesn’t survive it won’t stop lands end. They will continue to be the mail order company based in Wisconsin they always were. The home of modest and dependable bathing suits and extra warm clothes and coats. They cater to tall ppl even the bathing suits come in a tall version if they are 1 piece. Sturdy, dependable and comfortable best describes the approach to clothes. Kids clothes are sturdy enough to hand down.

6:00 I have been in thrift stores that do what I call “OMG pricing.” This is when they see an item and think, “OMG, this is NICE” and price the item up. Often, they get the nice part right. But OMG pricing, other than being higher than normal, is random.

Hey Julian, Be careful when you buy massagers. I know that you plugged it in and tested the power and buttons but be sure to test it against your arm or leg. As they wear they massaging balls will stop working under pressure so be sure to push it against you arm or leg and see if the massaging balls continue to move under pressure or whether they sieze and stop working once you push on them. Congrats on 100K! …I live in Conway and the last time I was at Carolina Forest goodwill I found a little bag with handles that wasn’t priced in with the wallets…the sign on the wall for wallets was 99 cents but the cashier said since it had handles it was a purse so I would have to pay the purse price! Crazy! It didn’t come home with me that’s for sure! I need to venture out to other goodwill stores maybe I’ll have better luck.

The metal “ornament” originally held potpourri. I had a friend who had one and she told me it was a friendship ball. She would give it to me one year for Christmas with a little gift in it. Then I’d give it back to her the following Christmas with a little gift in it. We just kept going back-and-forth until we moved far enough a part we couldn’t do it easily without shipping and we didn’t want to do that.
