I have a similar sized ultrasonic cleaner. It works great for removing rust from inside sockets and other small hand tools. Here's how: 1) Lightly de-grease the soskets with a mild soap solution (Dawn soap or similar) and throughly rinse with water. 2) Place the sockets in a slider quart freezer ZipLock bag. 3) Place the bag into the ultrasonic cleaner. 4) Add just enough Evapo-Rust to the inside of the bag to cover the sockets. 5) Add warm (NOT hot) water outside of the bag to the "Fill Line" of the ultrasonic cleaner. 6) Run the ultrasonic cleaner several times and then let sit overnight (8-12 hrs). 7) Run again several more times before removing sockets from bag. 8) Throughly rnse the sockets in warm water and wipe dry. 9) Quickly spray the sockets with a water dispersant (WD-40 or similar) and wipe dry. 10) LIGHTLY rub the sockets in your choice of rust preventative (or Vaseline). 11) Pour the Evapo-Rust back into the original bottle or leave setup in ZipLock bag for the next batch of sockets. NOTE 1: Above process is at least two times more effective than either the ultrasonic cleaner or Evapo-Rust alone. NOTE 2: For testing the process, a small bottle of Evapo-Rust is available at HFT for $9 per 32oz (or $6.30 with 30% coupon). Good Luck.
