Then get let go picked up cultivated and then be successful somewhere else. The Bears fail to cultivate or protect the Quarterback. Any wins the Bears get this year will strictly be cause the Defense outscored the offense. Montgomery is doing great in Detroit cause he does have a line to open lanes for him, a coaching staff to help him grow, coach's who use his talents the right way, and receivers who are willing to block downfield. This is something the Bear's haven't had since the 1980's(respect for W.P)

I hope you enjoyed the highlights because this is your future in 8 days. The Lions let Swift go, the Eagles let him go after one season and for some reason delusional Bears fans thought that they were getting the best RB in the league who also happened to be the garbage that other teams didn't want. It says a lot when the Eagles get a guy to be their #1, and then let him go after just 1 season. They didn't even want him around to pair with Barkley. We are glad to have Montgomery but the Lions have the best OL in the NFL. They made Jamaal Williams look good last year so outside of that monster catch he had against Seattle where he blew up the safety I don't think Montgomery has been much different here than he was in Chicago, he just happens to have the best OL he has had in his career. Don't sleep on the Lions TEs, as a group they are the best in the league. Brock Wright is sneaky great, that's why the 49ers tried to steal him. Laporta is a top 5 TE in the league. He was a Pro Bowl rookie last year, that was not an aberration. He's a younger & faster George Kittle, Hesse is a monster blocker who the Lions can use as a FB. Zylstra is the weakest of the bunch. He is an average blocker and receiver nothing special. Only reason he was on the field is because Laporta was out. The thing that nobody realizes is that the Lions have weapons at TE with both Wright and Laporta who are fantastic blockers and receivers, perfect for a play action team that is dominant on the ground. The Lions have yet to unleash them. I have a feeling Ben Johnson is saving those plays for later. It's unfortunate for you that Caleb is not working out so far, and looks a lot like Fields did. It's got to make you wonder since the Bears fired their OC if he was why Fields didn't live up to expectations. After all he did go 4-2 before Russ came back. The Bears have just as much talent as the Steelers do. I always felt the Bears offense tried to make Fields fit into what they wanted instead of exploiting the tools he had, pretty much the same way they did with Calab before they wised up and started firing coaching staff. Have they fired the OC sooner it's possible that Fields would be your QB and the Bears as a team could have gotten a lot better through the draft without drafting Caleb. Maybe he is the Messiah you claim him to be, but I don't see it. Personally, I think if they wised up sooner you would not have needed Caleb and this season would be going much different for you. The Bears have a better team than the Vikings, but unfortunately you have a questionable rookie QB who thought he was a the shit, but has a lot to learn. He was supposed to be the best QB to ever be drafted yet so far he is the 3rd best QB to come out of the 2024 draft at best, and to be honest I think he's the 4th best.
@MindOfMurdock6 күн бұрын
I suggest you watch more of the past content, I've said and agreed on most of that when it comes to Fields and Lions having weapons. It's a "TOP DOWN' issue as we Bears fans know, Never had an Oline or protected a QB well. But unlike the Lions, we stayed around not on the bottom where we Historically we've seen the Lions until the recent Cambell sucess which we agree on also. Idk where you get this "think he's the shit' stuff from sounds personal. I've seen every bit of Caleb's interviews not once has he given that off but the fact that's how you took it means you are scared of his potential and for that, I thank you for showing your true thoughts. I share the same thoughts on if we kept Justin but that's just not what we did. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bHTWZ6GwpsSGnrM

@MindOfMurdock I don't know why you're throwing shade on the Lions, the Bears have been no world beating team since '85. Both teams have been the same these past 30 years, competing not to be last in the division. The Bears had a short run with Urlacher and the Lions had a couple rare glimpses at the playoffs as well with Stafford. Neither team has had a division title before the Lions finally got one last year. So when you get on your pedestal and to look down, you're looking at the floor. You asked for them so here they are. Before the draft Caleb Williams had a list of teams he would refuse to play for. Who does that? Across all sports the biggest point of pride for an athlete who believes in himself and his talents is taking a team from the bottom to the top, not refusing teams. Williams quote "if we get a little bit more help from the defense we'll be fine". Does that sound like self-reflection or the blame game? Name me another rookie QB in the history of the NFL that told his punter "you will not be on the field much this year", before playing one game? Please name one rookie NFL player of any position that posed in a dress for a magazine before being drafted. If that's not diva I don't know what is. I have at least 7 more ridiculous quotes from this man however this is already long enough and I believe these few points are sufficient, but if you require more I have many more ridiculous diva bitch quotes from Caleb Williams before he was drafted. He has talent, but he is his own worst enemy. I say this about my Lions WR Jameson Williams as well. Both could be gret at their positions, but their attitude is preventing that, Caleb more so than Jamo. The NFL scouting report is out on Caleb and it's not good. Knock him around just a little bit and he folds. He cannot handle contact yet plays in a contact sport. I've watched the game film and so should you. The only games that Caleb has had success is when he was in a completely clean pocket and remained untouched. One big hit will knock his head out of the game, he is mentally soft. Caleb Williams reminds me of Vince Young, do you remember him? An extremely talented QB who willed his team as the catalyst that won a National Championship, something Caleb Williams could not do. Instead he cried when he lost, does that tell you nothing about this man's mental stability? There's no crying in football, even pee wee football. Unfortunately Vince Young with all of his talent was mentally weak and did not last long in the NFL. I could be wrong on Caleb but I have seen the film of every pass he has thrown thus far and as an idiot fan I see the glaring obvious. I can only imagine what seasoned NFL coaches see. I would love to hear the excuse of why the new LeBron James of the NFL only ranks 3rd in rookie QBs with a stack team around him and possibly the best WR core in the NFL? It's either a lack of talent, or mental ability. Pick one, but from what I see it's not talent. It may have taken LeBron James a few years to become dominant but from day 1 he was clearly the best player taken in one of those rare drafts that are full of HOF talent. Williams can't even compete with the top 10 in his draft class that did not have that rare HOF level of talent. My prediction, the Bears steal Ben Johnson from the Lions and by week 9 of 2025 Caleb Williams will be benched. By 2027 at the latest the Bears will have a new starting QB.

😂😂😂😂😂😂This is the worst review from a bears fan i ever seen enjoy greatness. No one cares about the Bears. Our division is not tough it only has three teams.
@MindOfMurdock6 күн бұрын
NFC is tough thanks for pointing that out. North has the best teams so far first-half record/stat-wise is what I was expressing. What was "worst" about it really in your opinion. I would love to see if improving is a thing or if it's just personal bias? Because you don't agree with my thoughts perhaps and don't know how to say why? So you just say it's the worst? I wonder truly but no worries if you can't articulate why I'll just take it as a troll and keep it moving on. I'm looking to be better every day truly.

@MindOfMurdock When you are doing a review on teams everything shouldn't be about your team (Da Bears) Then you dog out David like he wanted to leave yall let him Go. Instead of watching greatness you talk about the negative things they better win it all or else. But keep working at it bro.💪🏾💪🏾🤟🏾🤟🏾

@@gregpeoples2020 Monty former Bear, NFC North team, I was giving them (Lions) all the props thru the full video but I'm guessing you muted those parts lol You guys want me to hate Monty and I don't lol read the context. Also when you start doing reviews and such I hope you take your own advice . I loved every bit of that game but you speak on slight bad feedback LMAO so sensitive the internet is, I'll work on that thank you for helping me see that. I don't review every team you would know that if you watched so having a team I focus is my main but then RIVALS games added this week why not speak on it as well that's all no harm no foul.

Not really, think he's doing the same (stats) as he was with Bears Lions fans just like the new "toy" so to speak so acts like we didn't know what we had. I understand when he led the league-breaking tackle with us as well he just has a better line now so I hope he does do more than he did here but then guess the excuse will be Gibbs took some...

@@MindOfMurdockhe’s doing the same stats but with half the work load as he splits time 50/50 with Gibbs. Gibbs is better than Monty as well. It wasn’t coaching in Chicago, it’s that terrible O line.

every player on the lions says they are playing their hearts out for their coach. its all about the coaching and their ability to bring the players potential out of them. maybe the bears need to consider finding a coach with a similar style to dans.

Hoping the Bears are the fourth team to see our backups for most of the fourth quarter . Lions have 4 blowout games this year . But they aren't disrespectful. They play the backups most of the fourth quarter . Don't like it be better . Montgomery was pumped he finally got to beat Green Bay . He said he never beat them his entire Bear career.

Yeah, I ask if it matters because of history. Just like my team, on paper, we looked good this year, but did it matter if we had to cut 2 starters, and the OC still has questions... Another way to look at it: If Washinton didn't hit the FG, that's a win, and if our FG wasn't blocked or the refs called the flag on the Center being mauled in the GB game, then that's also a win. But those details didn't turn out, so it is what it is. The Lions may have something, but since everyone looks at the Bear's history, why not use a few when looking at teams that's all.
@DetroitCoalition5 күн бұрын
@@MindOfMurdock Only 13 teams in NFL history have finished in the top 5 in all three categories (offense, defense, and special teams). Out of these, 10 went on to win the Super Bowl. The Lions (as week 12) are top five in scoring offense, defense, and special teams (K, KR, P, and PR).
