I am very optimistic though because what Poles inherited and how he has cleaned it up while watching the franchise make strides from his first season as GM to the 2nd year was very promising. The Bears were on the brink of making the playoffs in year 2. Sure that was with JF1 who is now in Steel Town, but the roster is in even better shape with the FA moves and restructuring of the offensive staff. So based on all that, Poles has been phenomenal IMO.

Thank God for this man. FINALLY! Someone who knows what they’re doing and sticks to their guns and he oozes confidence. He’s shouldered the criticism for years now and hasn’t let that push him off course, this team is so freaking close. This offense is already the best I’ve ever seen on paper, QB position aside, no Bears GM has ever been crazy enough to add not 1, but 2 legit #1 targets. He doesn’t go cheap. Ryan Poles is a straight up gangstafied G. He’s also a first class gentleman. This rebuild will be complete at the end of April when we draft Caleb Williams. We have never had a potential offense like this. Ted Phillips retiring was also a big step in the right direction. He’s why we didn’t get a guy named LaDanian Tomlinson. Didn’t want to pay the # 2 pick price tag. This huge mistake and his “mediocrity is fine attitude” held our team back for decades. Our new President knows how to get things done and Poles has assembled the best team (on paper right now) that I’ve ever seen in my 35 years of watching Daaaaaa Bearsssssss!!!!!!! A new day is dawning and we should finally have a seat at the Big Dawgs table and the Monsters of the Midway have finally awoken from their slumber and are ready to EAT boys!!!!!

As a lifelong bears fan, it feels like more of the same. He had an opportunity to super stack the squad with studs but chose to cave in to media consensus and reset the core yet again. Its near impossible to "win now" within 3 years of a complete roster turnover. It takes talent to win in professional leagues. How the squad looks on paper says nothing to the fact that every other team in the division won the division since we last made the playoffs. Will this off-season give us more talent than green Bay? Detroit? Minnesota? We didn't need a qb, we needed defensive personnel that didn't blow double digit leads inside of 5 minutes to go and someone besides dj moore that can make a play

Ryan Pace has reset the GM clock and can now focus on LOTS of TV and Internet appearances. Deepest draft in years and you worked your way down to 4 picks, and one of them HAS to be a QB because you dumped your 24 year old starter for a 6th round pick in 2025.

I had some doubts about Poles first when he traded Mack but that was somewhat understandable but then he traded our best player but he replaced both of them with younger and possibly more talented replacements and added another LB that's equal in talent then drafted some good DTs and a LB that turned that D into the #1 squad the 2nd half of the year so now when he traded Justin Fields I was pissed at first like most of the Bears fan base but what he did this off-season and last with the offensive line and pretty much everywhere else with 2 #1 WR a new really good Oline added a really good TE and RB to put with on both positions so now there's 2 above average and a 3rd average and maybe even above average TE and RB groups so every position group on offense has that also except the QB and if they get a DE with the 9th pick that'll be true for every position except QB DT I would say C but I put C in with the guard position unless they do what I think they should im going to screen shot this I think they should trade it back to #2 get the QB from LSU make sure to get Nabers then trade up into the top of the first and get Worthy the DT 3tech from TX and resign the DE from the colts we had last year but was hurt get a OT in the end of the draft or BPA and on paper it will be the best on paper roster the bears will ever have and we'll have the 1st pick from Was so that might be another first overall so that would be 3 #1 overall 3 straight years so if the QB doesn't work we can go again or fill in the BPA or trade back if he isn't an actual generational talent because I personally don't think Caleb is that much better than the guy who just won the Heisman and he have his best WR from his college team along with the rest of that offense Poles could set this roster up for the next decade by moving back again I just have this horrible feeling about Caleb just close your eyes the number #1 QB prospect is well known for sure 1st overall then there's a QB from North Carolina #10 who's looked at as the 3rd best prospect then there's another prospect who can run and throw I wasn't talking about this year so remember everything the media says isn't always correct
