As a falcons fan i think i speak for most of us when i say this, when he was first drafted we hated it because he won’t help us this year we all think he’s good but now im fine with it i see the vision i think he will be great just gonna have to wait and see tho

People aren't saying Penix didn't do work in college, the point is one of the moves shouldn't have been made, either signing Kirk or drafting Penix when there were other better moves that could have been made 'instead of'.....oh, and....fortunately the yellow guy on the panel made sure to tell us Penix is black, hadn't noticed until he said it, lol

I feel bad for Penix and I feel bad for the Falcons' fans. Penix is 24 and Fields is 25. The Falcons could have just signed Fields and took a top 10 pick that could have helped the team this year. Now Penix who is already old for a draft pick is going to have to wait behind a veteran? Is Penix not going to start until he is 27? Penix was one of the QBs ready to play this year and he went to a team who doesn't need a QB.

@@MikeLarry910 -- I probably do believe in Penix over Fields. I just didn't believe it for Atlanta. The same Atlanta who spent 9 figures on Cousins already and getting ready to make a 24 year old sit for 2-3 years.

@@devinfusella150 go look at his first 2 years stats, vs last 2. Even with the games he missed he was on pace to not do better than those 1st two years. Even his qb rating was 98 and 97 his first two and 93 his last 2. Hes also had insane weapons his first 4 years. Another afc qb like Lamar for example, has gotten better every year and also has had insanely shitty wrs. Hebert and Lawrence will have identical careers. Herbert will have better numbers but they both will just be 7-11 win teams most years and will prob play 12 years then retire.

Blue collar Bears? It’s a team of young millionaires. If the kid can ball then who cares? It’s Chicago that’s blue collar, but it’s also the city that had Rodman winning championships while wearing wedding dresses. Nobody here cares about any of that. The QB could be trans for all we care. If on Sundays they’re winning games, we will love him.

Ha. What makes the Bears blue collar? Been hearing that narrative forever from people who have no idea where Chicago even is. There is a population of three million just in the city limits and a total of eight million surrounding. I guess you think they're all plumbers. If the vocal Meatheads chose to ditch Williams the rest of us would be more than happy to see them go. I mean, who cares about them. Green Bay has a population of one hundred thousand and they can support an NFL team.
