You can't say that unless Trent Baalke was gone at the time of the Bears hire. Ben Johnson would not have interviewed with the Jaguars if he wasn't going to come to Jacksonville. However, during that interview, he likely didn't like something he saw or heard as he was going through it.

I really hope at this point that not a single person wants to be a head coach with Trent Baalke until Shad Khan fires him. I'm so sick of this owner and even though I mostly like him in many other areas, if he can't make common sense decisions, then maybe its time we need a new damn owner that actually cares about this team. Because if he actually cared about this team, he would know that Trent Baalke does not have the capacity to help this team and move on from him. But instead, he's probably cheating on his wife with Trent Baalke, so he doesn't want to move on from his controversial side love affair.
