Top tip, don’t play undead pet vs ret pala. Their wake of ashes aoe stuns both pets 👍

Hi, i have a new hunter at lvl 60 and i am a total pvp beginner. I have played some arena games for practice and it was totally frustrating 😁. Now i want to buy some blue pvp stuff. What should i take, haste or crit or what are the important stats for bm hunter, could you write a priorisation? By the way, what can i do to get away from all that melee fighters. Thanks 😉(i realize, i do not often write in english 😁). I should have watched the whole video 9:13 versatility>haste>mastery>crit(not needed 😅)

Big tip: If you want to maximize your dps, don't spend time using Kill Command, alot of times your pet is in CC and you miss a global by doing this, Cobra Shot instead!! Kill Command is only for if you KNOW your pet is in CC and you have no barbed shot stacks and need to get your pet over to the enemy! MAX DPS!!!

Hey mate as a bm a hunter we dont press kill command even if the pet is close to the enemy and attacking it ? i mean do we use kill command just as a pet charge to get to the enemy if it tried to kite us ? and instead only spam cobras?

Great guide but why do you run thrill of the hunt if crit is our worst stat? Wouldn’t murder of crows be better? For burst and all that.

Crit is good but not for your gear Hunter base Critical Strike is 10% + Thrill of the Hunt (9%) = 19% Crit + Aspect of the Wild (10%) = 29% Crit You'll have plenty of Crit with these alone, as long as you keep Thrill up I have a tip on how to keep it up in this video with an addon - kzbin.info/www/bejne/b5-mXmehh55saNE

So one big question I have with hunter is all the pet abilities on the pet bar. Does anyone actually keybind those or is there any point to doing that?

The MAIN one you really need is just "Move To", so you can move your pet inside or outside of ring of frost so he does not get frozen so you will still be able to use Roar of Sacrifice.

My question is, if we don't go critical strike at all why use thrill instead of murder of crows. With beastial is does a ton of damage. I feel 9% crit is very small

10% base crit + Thrill takes us to 19% + Aspect (cd) takes up to 29% Crit so it's plenty for our huge Kill Shot Crits

Sorry I thought you were joking on the first one haha :) but you don't need to focus on celerity (speed), only versatility,haste but if it has +Speed then it won't hurt

Well there where this 2 things that are kind of related to each other. 1- i like playing undead, its my favourite race and i like survival hunter but THERE IS ONE BIG PROBLEM, and that's the fact that the talent "steel trap" (wich i use 90% of time) stops working if the target surfers any other damage apart from the steel trap itself but it gets proc by my undead racial "touch of the grave" and the trap stops working. I think this should be changed by blizzard cuz its not a small detail, like when they say race doesn't matter that much, cuz in this case it does in a negative way. 2- since Im looking for a new race to play survival Hunter, im considering to play with a Tauren. Here my question comes: does the Tauren racial "brawn" (Critical strike bonus damage and healing increased by 2%.) Increases the amount healed by the critical procs from my "Mending Bandage" and the critical heal procs to my pet with "Mend pet" ??

It would be absolutely amazing if you could use a different covenant's soulbind for PVP. I enjoy playing PVP, but Night Fae is really the only covenant for raids and mythic+. But Venthyr is best for PVP. I love running pvp sometimes, but I have to stay with Night Fae considering I raid and run mythic plus more than I pvp. It would be great if you could switch to one of the other covenants when doing a pvp build. Maybe make it a reward for being exalted with all 4 covenants or something. But right now it just isnt worth me switching from Night Fae to pvp a few times a week

Hunter only good in 1v1 if ur in a bg u get recked instant death and does 0 dmg. It’s good at one thing and that is running.

It's not TERRIBLE in bgs if you play it right, base sitting and ninjaing is what they are best for but they are very decent for FC maps targeting specifically EFCs, mortal wounds and can do all their damage while moving from range. Very consistent damage
