Ok, so I understand the aesthetics angle, but if you want to take her out where she was born to be, you are going to need lighting, and f me but landcruiser lighting sucks hard. I bought my first 'cruiser in '79, still own the last two I've bought, an HJ45 and an HZJ75, and out of all of my complaints, which are few, the lights are only surpassed by the friggin handbrake as the worst parts of the vehicle. Other than those, they're a million km weapon.

Love Neila! You're going to be so happy with all of her new upgrades. We have a 270 Awning as well but ours has walls that we can add. Here in Oregon, we find that when the weather does get colder, having the walls on makes additional floor space and we can pipe the diesel heater warmth in which makes it nice and cozy. We have an OVRLND camper topper on our truck and we're in the slow process of tricking it out. Thanks for the videos, and I can't wait to see the inside. That's our next project. Keep on Troopin!

Troopy owner and about to go to Headspace (booked in for a while), glad to hear you love it so much, they seem like great guys. I will also upgrade to Safari eventually but you don’t need to to cross rivers multiple VHC rivers crossed! The depth where it would be a problem will sweep the Troopy away with any current at all so don’t go that deep! ASP has the same bull bar on his last Aussie build he got the control box set inside on right hand side - worth checking video. I’ve got mine on top but offset away from sensor (you’d probably hate it) but I have an Onca bull bar - less room on inside (but very nice bull bar).

Looks great. I like the head lights. But where are you with the GVM? I don't have half of that stuff and already to close for comfort to the max allowable GVM! Are you planning on taking advance 4WD trainings or something? There is quite a bit of knowlegde to aquire before you can utilize the car to the full. I agree with this. I am shocked by the kind of money people spend on SUCH UGLY cars. Sorelle has really good instincts for aesthetics. There is a dad who drops his kids to primary school every morning in a car like this and I drool (over the car, not the dad...I am a happily married woman). 😉 My daughters and I are super excited you are home in Australia and can't wait to see what you get up to. I am a volunteer wildlife carer and I found your channel when we lived down in Melbourne (in Brisbane now) and I was specialising in orphaned wombats. ok...the Troopy has a weird wheel set up...not weird for a Troopy, but weird for a 4x4. If you have standard axles, the rear axle is narrower than the front axle. My advice is to change it. You will have problems later on in the life of the vehicle if you don't. Change your tyres max 50,000kms. It is common problem with some 4 wheel drives.

Even if it's half of that. You get a better deal at a decent 1HZ Troopy around the 30 grant mark plus you don't have to deal with all the electronics and you don't have to worry so much about going proper offroad and believe me you will get that red dust everywhere

In NSW, NB1 vehicles (which would be yours now with the GVM upgrade) can only have an increased track width of 50mm, so -59s would increase the track by more than 50mm. The only way that could be legal, is if you had an engineer certify those wheels (which I doubt they would sign off on).
