I mean he ain’t wrong, built a deck out of three of these bad boys for fun and tried it out online. Managed to get hamon and raviel on the board with the new trap and watched a shadoll invoked player slowly descend into madness at his inability to use monster effects. It’s by no means a top tier deck, but when it works it’s pretty funny

Oh shit. Definitely gonna have to play around with this and bring it to a tournament. Edit: After looking more in-depth at this, this could actually be a pretty decent control deck. Kinda like how Cyber Orcust was a while back, lots of control, negates, pops, etc, but then when they get a chance they just otk you.

Honestly sacred beasts aren’t the best but I’ve been pretty burnt out with yugioh and this deck helped me have fun again. Making a guy rage quit after swords made his chaos max flip face down to be ran over by raviel, to using Hamon and raviel with the new trap and field to ruin a shadol invoked players day and ending the game on 13,600 life points. Don’t think it’ll stand up to the meta, but it’s definitely fun if you’re looking for something rogue to play

Ok so I may be thinking about this completely wrong but why do the beasts have to summoned by their own methods before Hyper Blaze can special summon them from grave. I get they each say they can't be summon by other means. But Hyper Blaze says you summon them ignoring their summoning conditions.

Well i have gone over the cards rulings and there is nothing that mentions that the beasts must be summoned properly first. Although i have seen some people that compare it to level modulation but in that cards rulings it says that they are currently deemed unofficial.Also there is the fact that level modulation is not limited to single archetype nor specific monsters like hyper blaze is.

You need to properly summon first. It's just one of those rulings. I think it's in the same vein as cheating out fusion monsters (example) and using reborn.

The sacred beasts are just concept arts for the Egyptian gods that they decided to use for gx because Konami didn't want to pay for new artwork for gx
