I remember this guy's story. It was on Monster Quest. I even made a reenactment of it in Minecraft for a KZbin video about the werewolf. The Beast of Bray road is just fascinating for whatever reason. We need exploration teams to be on tv as they search Wisconsin for it. I would do it myself but it's honestly a bit creepy out there.

People can be as mean and disbelieving as they like about the Bray Road beast, but as a cradle Wisconsinite who has watched all the interviews I could find about this phenomenon with rural state residents, I totally believe them, especially this guy. So many people in the rural and small town areas of the state are just bedrock Americans, who believe in honesty, God, military service and doing right by their neighbors, and they certainly would die before going on the record to lie, just to gain some passing notoriety. Now, these people can also be very narrow minded, in my opinion, especially where different races and ethnicities are concerned, but that doesn’t make them any less honest. If this guy said he saw it, you can take it straight to the bank.

I’m personally taking it with a grain of salt. Not entirely convinced, but not exactly dismissing it all either. Someone’s religion nor military experience don’t exactly mean 100% honest to me, either (especially since both tend to have… shady histories). As someone from Wisconsin, you ever actually seen Bray Road? It’s almost entirely flat, open farmland, not a lot of places a 7’ creature can hide. Closest thing maybe is a small forest about several miles away from there, and I dunno much about that part. If this creature does exist, my theory is that Bray Road isn’t its actual territory, but rather a migratory place where the creature would find reliable roadkill, but I don’t imagine it stopping by often since it knows humans also drive by, and it’s really open.

You have dogman sightings in Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky, in Ohio, in the neighboring Michigan, and there’s tales of werewolves from across the ocean; though werewolves and dogmen are different creatures in the sense that dogmen have never been seen shapeshifting according to reports. I find it folklore of Elkhorn so far due to lack of evidence (and most “evidence” brought in has been found to be fabricated, thus deepening my skepticism.) and the impossibility of lupine and primate genetics mixing enough to create a creature such as this. But I do know some people do actually see something.

I'm not a Wisconsin native although I like to speculate that some of the wolves from the previous wolf population back a few century ago might had carried LPV (Lupine Parvovirus), a virus responsible for lycanthropy. The Bray Road Beast could've been a man originally (a hunter presumably or not) until he was bitten by a LPV-infected wolf. Accordingly, it was said that wolf population recovery programs are feared to result in the increase of lycanthropy in neighborhood areas.

I saw this thing too!!! HOLY SHIT was this thing HUGE!! I got out of the passengers side of the car in the middle of the cemetery right by the Star Of David. I kid you not the first 30 seconds, we saw something peeking behind a tombstone like a Human playing peekaboo I got out of the car and followed Thing and I had a big LED flashlight and was shining on this thing the whole time! This thing has massive glowing green eyes and barley blinked. We started at each other for 5 min straight and getting closer and closer to it. Every time I got closer it moved back a tomb stone and didn’t seem to try to cause harm but the feeling I was going through was Indescribable. It peeked at me as if we are playing peekaboo with each other and Also this thing was ALL grey and very very hairy and I’d say the size of 2-3 wolves put together. So back to the story, after 5 min I felt like I was walking half a mile away from the car as I followed this creature and As I felt I got too close and I mean CLOSE I’d say me and thing were 15-20ft away from each other the whole time and when I felt like I got scared and panicked I ran to the car fast as I could and as soon as I got in the passengers side of the car this thing was right next to the car hiding behind the same tombstone when I first got out of the car. Oh many if I had a go pro this would have been the most amazing evidence. I saw this thing less than 1 min In the middle of the cemetery. If any paranormal investigators are interested in my story I can maybe show you what I saw if I was to go their again and the location. And again me and this werewolf were staring at each other straight for id say 8 min but felt like forever! This werewolf could have easily attacked me and I’d be missing but he didn’t cause harm and seemed very curious. Please any real investigators contact me if you’re interested.

Heard of his report since I was a kid. The most consistent description given by Steve that I noticed was that he never failed to say it looked like a bear with a dog’s head, as you said. Was he absolutely sure it wasn’t a mangy black bear? They’re surprisingly thin, and odd-looking. Didn’t know he wrote a whole book about it, seems like a somewhat brief encounter. you know what would be cool, if someone had a time machine and took some guns and cameras and went back in time to dates of possible sasquatch, or sheepsquatch, or even the mothman sightings, and try to kill it and bring it back to the future to show the whole world that these supernatural creatures' exist. We need new shows come on. The best ghost or monster shows are were they reenact it and have people that witnessed it tell there story together. These ghost hunting shows with dudes and meters is dumb compared to these . Eli roth and zack baggins nailed it doing ghost shows reenacting it. There on discovery plus. I live in Wisconsin and I love 💕😘💕💞 wolves. Encountered a friendly one once but I don't live on a farm. I would not want to be on a farm anyway. But I don't recamend walking up to a wild 🐺 wolf if they are curious they will investigate from a safe distance unless threatened but any animal will attack when threatened

That part when their talking about how the beast could be a wolf adapted to walking on it's hind legs really peeves me. Thats, thats not how it works. There is absolutely no precedent or reason for a wolf to evoke bipedal walking, especially in the short timespan of 100 year more or less. I'm not saying it's not out there but, that is a terrible hypothesis.

The beast of Bray Road located in Elkcorn WI.. it’s actually a 35 minute drive from where I live and had driven by it countless times at night and day. To this day I have yet to see any sign of any large animal or anything of that sort. Maybe I’m not meant to see it and lucky for it or it just doesn’t exist and it’s people’s wild imagination.

U need to do some more research ...there have been recent sightings even by couples and there’s online forums and groups now for these types of sightings as there have been for many years with alien abductions and sightings ..intelligent people are open minded ...

@@RaiseYourVibes333 you do realize that it’s all speculation until proof of existence is proven? Sure there’s forums and places where you meet and chat with people who have experience but there’s no proof if such creature exists or doesn’t exist. And like I said I can’t say for sure myself cuz I’ve had no encounter with the supernatural or phenomena like aliens, but do I believe in it? All I can say is some things are better left alone as a mystery. In due time the truth will come out.

Many people are gullible; our politics prove it, but this isn’t about that. My point is people who AREN’T native to Wisconsin are quick to believe tales told by people that something lurks there. Willing to bet a large sum of them never actually been to your state, let alone Bray Road. It’s a wide, open, flat farmland which I can’t imagine holds much hiding place for a 7’ lupine creature, so I can’t say I blame you at all for not seeing anything. Doesn’t stop me from being curious of any tales though. What would you do if you saw it?
