Interesting note: The writers weren’t fond of Waspinator’s voice, so his first few “Chew Toy” instances were attempts to remove him from battle as early as possible. Boy, did _that_ backfire.

It took about 5 days, l might have gotten a bonus for getting it done ahead of schedule, but l can't be sure though, it was a while back now and l had gotten many bonuses at that time.

Interesting observation: Waspinator's beast mode is actually female. The only 2 other male Transformers that has a female beast mode are his fellow Predacon Inferno and the Maximal Tigertron.

He does take on a Starscream-esque role in two episodes, and his VA also voices Starscream when his spark comes along in "Possession". I think the writers originally planned to have Starscream's spark possess Terrorsaur instead, but given how similar the two sounded and acted, they were afraid a lot of viewers wouldn't notice.

That's a little strange, coming from you. In any case, he was one of two original cast members that could fly in Beast Mode, whereas Optimus could only fly in Robot Mode, and the rest were all ground-bound. He really only became weak as other flighty members came along, and existing members gained new flight-capable forms.
