All you young folks watching this video need to thank your lucky stars. When I enlisted in the Marine Corps, in 1975, there was no internet, no KZbin, no nothing. When I went to recruit training the only information I had was from my relatives and of course they made it sound great. We've been Marines since the Korean War. You guys have the opportunity to get many different perspectives on boot camp and life in the force. Here's wishing you all success whether you're doing one tour or going to be a lifer.

This is interesting as when I went through BMT it was only 6 weeks. No beast week. Had 2 field days as well as confidence course. In the beginning of week 6 we did have a select group of recruits from our flight and our sister flight go on bivwack for a couple of days. We had to deal with scorpions, rattlesnakes, and skunks during manuvers.

SirDean The Great my son just called me from BMT, apparently today someone had Covid 19. So they put everyone in the base Hotel for 14 day. He got is hair shaved and shots. But 6 days there and not much is done!

Thanks for these videos! My family's tradition is Marine Corps but we're trying to get my grandnephew to join the Air Force. He would easily get through recruit training but its afterward. The quality of life doesn't begin to compare. During my career I would go to a local Air Force base to shop at the PX. (mom loved to go) The amenities were through the roof! The whole culture is so laid back. If you haven't already, would you please do a vid on MOS school. In the Marine Corps it's an extension of recruit training! Again, thanks for the great vids and keep 'em coming. We're gonna get Matty in the Air Force one way or the other!

Bay TV your information will be sent to your recruiter and then you’ll start the job picking process and when you submit your list of jobs, there’s a draft of jobs that come in each month at the end of the month. you’ll probably get your date near the end of next month.

My son is a boxer and had been trained in the art of boxing for 4 years prior to joining the AirForce and he is just about done with BMT he said he whooped the shit out of his opponent but got in trouble with his MTI for throwing upper cuts and head shots so I guess no head shots.
