So…yeah. Believe it or not, Beastars is actually a really good anime, that is, when not taken out of context. Full disclosure about it though - it * IS * an anthropomorphic animal anime. It follows the same Predator v.s. Prey line that Disney’s Zootopia does. The predators are not allowed/supposed to eat meat, as it’s akin to cannibalism. It’s also a High School Drama that deals with a lot of deep real-world issues. As such, it’s a Rated-R or essentially TV Mature anime. But don’t worry. A majority of the cast is canonically 18+ years old (…in case you’re into that). Speaking of cast, Beastars has an incredible English voice cast which stars Jonah Scott (Legoshi) and Lara J. Miller (Haru), who both have been in countless famous movies, television shows, animes, and video games. Beastars is initially a bit weird to watch and get into, especially since it’s a full cgi anime, but you’ll quickly get hooked on it once you mentally “adjust and settle” into it. …….Just please….for the love of God….I beg of you NOT to go searching for any forbidden Beastars images and videos. Rule 34 stuff. There is an obscene amount of it, just like with Zootopia. You will find it. And you may be scarred for life. lol.
