Hey Pierre from assault on Anime, just wanted to mention that Beastars Season 3 was officially announced. Hopefully the next anime season manages to cover all the content they missed. For those who can't wait I still recommend the manga, the whole story is completed there (i'm only on volume 13 though so no spoilers please). Thanks for all of the support, who knew a short and simple video would do so well, maybe I should do more in this format...

I completely agree, the end did seem a bit rushed, especially since if you're a manga reader then you'll definitely feel like stuff's missing... Still I love Beastars and I'm happy for anyone who watches or reads Beastars since many are discouraged because of the fUrRy side of it.

I'm sure Season 3 will cover these missing parts. The Murder Solution Arc had alot of stuff to cover and they only had 12 episodes to cover the most important parts.

imo the anime doesnt do the manga justice at all.. it started off good, but there's a lot of both small and big problems i have with it, in season 1 and 2, and soon probably with season 3 as well. while the manga's final chapters do feel rushed and Paru left many plot holes (tbh i think that she was forced to end the manga even tho she wanted to make it longer...), the anime is even worse with both starting and closing certain plot points. god we'll probably get Legosi's family backstory in some random moment, if we get them at all,, hopefully they wont be some after credits extras

Im kinda afraid of the ending tbh (not sure if it's gonna be in season 3 or are they gonna split the revenge of the love into 2 seasons) since in the manga it was already rushed enough :/

I have read the manga. And according what you said in the video, is 100% true. The Orange Studios cuts some parts that it should have appears in the anime. But they didn't do the exact time. And they doing it in rush mode. They ruined it man. They actually ruined the anime. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

My name is Gosha, I mean, it's the most popular short variation of my full name, and I really don't like it, except that one Gosha, lol.

I think overall the Beastars anime has so far been superior to the Manga, but I do think season 2 suffers from lacing issues, and the exclusion of Gosha and Jack and Legosi's backstory is a hit inexplicable. I am worried about season 3 after having read the Manga. I was blown away by the Manga all the way up to the introduction of Melon, and from their the story slowly unravels. Beastars randomly becomes a full on shonen with Melon beimg a joker style super villian. The stakes of the battle between Legosi and Melon are just comically high. All of the characters loss 50 iq points and do stupid shit for the sake of justifing the utter insanity that the plot. After a pointless tournament arc and a lackluster fight with Melon, Louis somehow fixes all of societies problems with a single speech, and then the series just sorta ends. It is known that Paru didn't have a plan for Beastars beyond the murder solution arc. It seems that with Melon she set off with an ambitious idea of deconstructing Legosi's morals and questioning his relationship with Haru by exposing the dark reality of hybrids through both Legosi's family and Melonz but then she just randomly lost interest and lazily wrapped up the story and called it a day. Will the show so far hasn't wandered very far from being a beat for beat retelling of the Manga, I do hope the show takes a lot of liberty from here on out. It would be said for the Anime to just blindly follow the Manga's downward spiral.
