I totally agree they are both quality lens. Where I have to disagree is that the beast grip pro will work with several different phones thus saving you from purchasing a different case for each phone. Great video I love your style and can’t wait to see your 1st Hollywood Blockbuster.

Haha Thank you! That's very true. Even with this style of filmmaking it can certainly get very expensive! Definitely want to shoot another short in the near future.

The neewer has a cage for s23 ultra and iPhone that is compatible with m series anamorphic lens so no changing cases really boils down to quality

Not sure if you've realised that Moment has just released their brand new T Series set of mobile lenses...their M-series are now somewhat obsolete (for newer phones).

Well Done! I just sold my Moment “M” mount Anamorphic lenses - they didn’t play well with my 13 Pro Max. I’m waiting for a review of the SwiftCam LensUltra anamorphics before I go down that road again. So far, the BeastGrip is looking very strong.

Thanks! The larger sensor on the newer smartphone definitely caused a few issues for the accessory companies. Will be interesting to see what the reviews are like for the new Moment T-Series lenses. Yes Beastgrip make top quality products that’s for sure.

I bought the rig from Beastgrip themselves so paid the import costs which is quite a bit extra. Sometimes you can find Beastgrip products on Amazon uk, Ebay or B&HI believe. I wish they'd have a UK base for shopping for sure.

I bought the Moment Anamorphic Lens - Gold Flare a couple of years ago for my Samsung Galaxy S9+ But since then upgraded my phone. Unfortunately they don't make the case for the Samsung S23 Ultra so now I can only use it with my old phone. Any suggestions on using this lens with my S23 Ultra?

Ah that's a shame! I believe smallrig make phone cages with the bayonet mount but not sure about their Android lines.

Yeah, I agree the flaring might be a 'case use' or 'taste' thingy..... But OMG: 105 grams! My back! .... I know, it's a cellphone lens, but coming from using 'real' cameras, 100 grams is like the weight of a lens hood (or not even) -- and the BeastCage itself is fairly heavy... Nice work, by the by, thanx.

I have both, second hand. The moment is a great grab and go lens whereas the beastgrip is my more cinematic film shooter.

price for the beastgrip is ok due to quality but WTF i don´t see myself paying 140 for a stupid case thats BS. there´s a 37mm lens adapter for around 10 EUR so you can throw on beastgrip on a 50 dollar Moment Case. but i dont know if that takes sth away from the quality
