I love that they all roll with each others bullshit and none of them crack up at the other, they just play it straight. God, I miss these guys.

This video does nothing but reinforce the fact that this is one of the most genius bands in history. It should be placed in a time capsule for future generations to study.

Exactly my point. This collection of interviews should be sent into space.

Genius. All of them.

Yeah, someone should create an internet platform that archives videos and makes them available for said future generations to watch. Maybe a comment section too, that would be cool.

The idea of the Beastie Boys running around collecting butterflies with big nets is amazing. I'd like to believe it was true. 😂

LMAO. Their sense of humor is the thing I'll always love most about them. I'm hard pressed to think of a band that can equal their comedic chemistry.

I would love to watch Mike D, Mary J Blige, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, and Missy Elliot compete in three legged races, potato sack races, egg toss, and running with an egg on a spoon.

The best humour comes from the "everything but nothing" face, which is when someone pee your pants funny delivers hilariousness with a straight face, but there's an expression of all encompassing mirth hidden in that straight deadpan look. The Best-tie boys more like it. Stuff your tin pot comedians, these guys are the Daimler's of comedy. Also Ad Rock is very cute with hedgehog worthy hair.

I'm hoping we can make more lyrics like this, a lot more brothers. There's much to storytell about. We'll keep the extra drive bestowed from MCA and continue the legacy, and visions that MCA had paved the way for. GODBLESS JESSE

There was an interview they did in I think 1986 on NBC's Tom Snyder ''The Tomorrow Show'' where The Beastie Boys said they were going to do a comedy movie called ''Scared Stupid'' and Adrock got on the table and did a dance (I forget what they called it) and kicked all the drinks and stuff off the table and the interview ended like that. That was back when RUN-DMC came out with ''Tougher Than Leather'' and The Fat Boys came out with ''Disorder Lies''

Those mid 1980s interviews of them was confusing for every youth and, I imagine, adults of various ages who became aware of Beastie Boys, because they truly were exotic, nobody had ever seen their likes before, right here in the USA, everything they said, any one of them, would be taken literally, because they came off with the rapping right in the heart of New York City. Even today, I still can't figure them out.
