Heard this when it first came out-- played on a college radio station. Died laughing! Was the funniest thing in '83. It's still funny. and if you're from NJ or NY, you know all about Cookie Puss, Cookie O'Puss and Cookie Chick :-D

Agreed: "Cooky Puss" remains hilarious as well as infinitely listenable. In my case, I saw the Cooky Puss EP on cassette at the record store, purchased it based on caprice and wow: what an amazing surprise it was, a revelation, even.

Amazing piece of history this EP. Recorded before Def Jam, before rap really ever left some urban circles. The experimemtalism here is crazy, especially for 1983. The Beasties were still primarily a hardcore punk group, and still had Kate Schellenbach on drums, the little known "Beastie Girl" who was ultimately canned by Rick Rubin. She's center left on this record art, and you can hear Mike D shout her out in the third track, Beastie Revolution.
