I saw the Beastie Boys in 1992 in Omaha when I was 17. It was House Of Pain first, L7 second, and then the Beastie Boys. They opened with "Shake your Rump". I have seen a ton of bands over the yeas, but that was still the most amazing show I have ever been to. Start to finish.

I met and made a friend in Tokyo back in the late 90’s as we were newbies to Japan and we both loved “da Boys” and talked shop about their songs, as music nerds that just graduated college tended to do. 🤓 And because we were just starting out in our careers, going to Lawson Station, Family Mart and 7-11 was one of the cheapest ways to get sustenance in Japan. 😉💴🍢🍲🍜🍱 Good times, good times….
