Agreed. By the end of turn two I’ve usually managed to keep up vp wise but half my army is dead, and very little of my opponents army is dead. By the end of turn 3 it’s over and the beastmen have melted away and lost :(

as someone who doesn't play 40k I still use Deepstrike its still clear and had early instances of getting it confused with summoning. Someone who plays 40k and AoS told me that they use the term and ive been using it since.

Steve, if you want Centigors that look great and are cheaper than the old Finecast ones, buy a box of Gors, and either Ork Boarboyz or Marauder Horsemen. Clip the legs off the Gors and Greenstuff them to the Boar or Horse bodies before sculpting the Greenstuff into fur. Use Ungor Spears and shields to complete the look

7:35 The word you are looking for is "Burnished". Something that is 'tarnished' is duller or stained, something that is 'burnished' is brighter, it shines.

Sorry, little late but Tarnished or "Oxidized" is the dulling of the metal but gold is valuable because it does not tarnish. Opposite is polished. @ 7:00 this discussion kicks off

When it comes to "Deepstriking" I play Lumineth Realm Lords. That word doesn't exists. From what I heard from others they never are consistent with a specific word when they mean "Deepstrike". As the opponent you just know what they mean because 1. Its not on the board and 2. You just know that their army can do such thing

When I play my Stormcast I call it shocking well because that is what they do . I dont play any other AoS army that has something similar but when I play my white scars I make a difference between shocking and ambush depending from where the units arrive.

Great game, gents! :) I'd like to see a Beasts game where the beast player is a bit more defensive. I see the goats getting flung forward and slaughtered in almost every game. Maybe a shield wall of Gor to take the charge with Ungor raiders with bows behind this line to do some damage and Bestigor or Bulls for a powerful counter charge? Try to do this within the aura of the herd stone so that the enemy (in most cases) suffers -1 rend and the beasts are immune to battleshock. The aura of the stone and the summoning points keep going up throughout the game, so it seems in the best interests of the Beasts to play for the long game and concentrate on wearing the enemy down early on and on scoring points later.

If u ever build a mix of min and max units in beast and only run goats the army becomes tons better. You would be surprised how good they are. Well how good they r at slowing your opponent from scoring points.

Can someone help explain the tactical part of this game to me? Most of MWG's 40k games don't really jive with my sense of what to do and why to do it. It seems like they are just setting up units, advancing until they can charge, charging, meeting directly in the middle, and fighting until someone gets lucky and wipes a unit before their opponent can, freeing up models to go help double-team another set of guys. Why do they choose those specific spells? Etc. They seem to not really care about playing well

It's a depressing army to play. You mostly focus on objectives and getting bodes and screen on them. Then just remove your models from the table and hope you have enough to keep your VPs high.

Just putting this out there, I'm not sure how long Luka has to have their hair dyed, but it's been long enough friend. Go dye it back to something normal. The colours fading and the roots are showing
