When you reached castle and destroyed that keep in the middle, I thought 40 minutes had passed already. And I looked up and the timer just barely passed 20 minute mark. Damn that defense felt like an eternity

At 35:44 with his mangonels and before that when he killed jeane wigh the culverins why is he spamming his keyboard and what is he spamming and does it have any effect

I slowed the vid down to 0.25 speed, and it really seems like whatever he's clicking has no effect. He often spams his hotkeys (tc to units back to tc to units back to tc, or stable/mill/mine/tc/etc in rotation to see if upgrades are loading bottom left), but he's not doing that during your timestamp. He's not A-moving either, because his mouse cursor doesn't change to a sword. Not cycling units, because bottom left menu stays the same. Seems like a tick thing where he aggressively wants something to happen, and spams some key a shit ton while watching to see if it happens (like a big mango hit or sniping JD).

@@aheadatime yeah I understand the checking for upgrades thing and production, but apparently it's just a tick when as you said he wants something and is like trying to get it to happen by mashing some key ,thanks for the response and clarifications

Good video, ( I know I am not good but) why does it feel like whan i play hre and i get castle that the enemy always puts units on relics even if theyre down to feudal age and i can't usually match them in terms of units number and they usually age up at around the same time, is there a good hre player i could watch and learn from?

@@manilL9 Beasty is pretty good at hre. He made a video on his main channel recently on hre.

If youre rushing castle what i would recomend to take relics is, attack his base, if youre atacking his base he will probably take the relic units back to deffend, and you either kill villagers which is good, or take relics which is also good.

So funny the people kn the chat about how broken aachen chapel and how op hre is😂 have you even watched the first 20-25min. To defend like beasty is really tricky which a lot of low league players are not capable of. They‘re always lacking a bit behind with hre kn terms of units, aggression etc. Also have you noticed by min 25 that JD has full map control (if it wasnt against beasty), with keeps all around the hre base and the 3 sacred sites captured. It takes some skill to deal with that and a aachen chapel or some marching drills only will not cover that all.
