I feel like the Malians have to many things going for them, such as: the cows and the matching landmark, musofadi countering heavy infantry and having stealth (wtf), javelins countering archers, their archers that can get poisioned arrows that bypass armour (wtf again).

Liquipedia has a nice head to head tool to compare players, and it says Demu has only beaten Beasty twice in a tourney setting. That doesn't mean the games weren't close, or not competitive, just the outcome, but it's interesting.
