Beat all 9 Labyrinths for the Evil Spirit Armor Set in Tears of the Kingdom - Locations & Set Bonus

A little surprised this wasn't mentioned, but for the North Lomei Sky Labyrinth, I traveled over from the Wind Temple. The trampoline sails on the sky ships gave me altitude, and with stamina and Tulin's ability, I was able to coast to the top of the sky labyrinth, and then I placed a travel medallion. This allowed me to run along the top of the labyrinth and drop down to each terminal, including the one in the middle. And when I was finished with each one, I could go back to the travel medallion on top, and run along to the next one until I got all four.

I actually enjoyed doing these labyrinths because 1) no enemies, 2) forgot the actual solutions from BOTW and was unsure they would work, and 3) there's no mindless wandering (unless you want to search for chests and equipment) because there's already a trail left for you by the zonai researchers. It was also fun to read through the logs.

9:42 This maze is even easier to navigate then you think. Once entered just go straight, you'll find a little spot to recharge your energy to the left side. You can Ascend here and just walk on top to the opening that has the terminals and every terminal (and chest) has a spot to ascend back up xD.

You can also solve the Hyrule-level mazes by following the trail of figurative breadcrumbs the Zonai researchers left, if you do them the "normal" way

For those who have the glide suit, I don't know if you need it to have the bonus or not at 2* upgrade but I do, when doing the sky labyrinths, just dive for a brief moment and the updraft will blow you back up and you can literally just fly around the entire maze no issue. When you need to go down, you just dive and then once you have stopped diving you will get blown back up again. No stamina use whatsoever.

While going through any of the sky mazes, if you enter diving mode instead of using the glider you'll move like 3 times as fast when using the glide armor set, its very fun.

For the air labrynths, the gliding armor set makes you go /fast/. One thing that helped me was that, since you can't fall out easily, you can just stop looking at link and instead look at the minimap as you zoom by. Because the gravity is weak, if you want to cheese the whole thing, get any platform, like a cart, and a rocket. It'll shoot you to just below the top of the maze, and you can jump off and just walk to your objectives.

i just realized each labrynth level represents power widsom and courage the sky labrynths represent wisdom, testing your ability to navigate the labrynths and activate the terminals the surface labrynths test your courage, making you navigate through the labyrinths knowing there's gloom hands lurking in each one and the depth labyrinths test your power, making you fight a boss in order to get a phantom ganon piece

Thank you for marking the chests. I completed the quest yesterday without grabbing the zonai weapons. I used a medallion on the top of the sky maze for fast traveling to descend to the hand portals.

If you're going to the sky labyrinths on any type of hover vehicle and you have travel medallions i recommend you place them near the top of the labyrinth near the hand thingy, youll be able to get all of terminals very quickly

You can also use Ascend I cheesed mine by using the ladders and dropping down when they do the throwing the blocks attack and Ascending up to them

@@Ash_Wen-li If you hit the weak spot enough the robot will dismantle, you can use ascend when it turns flat to get up or use recall on the blocks he throws at you, there are actually plenty of ways to reach his weak spot

This is one of the first complete armor sets I got, aside common armors like the Hyrule Soldier set. It's really satisfying to play as Phantom Ganon. Not only do I get to play as a memorable boss from the first Zelda game I ever played, I also get to have a cape, and make NPCs cower in fear when I approach them. Awesome armor set.

Fun fact for the building block bosses. Take away it's legs and it can't stomp you, take away its hand blocks can't slam you, and so many people seem to not know but when it's flying let it shoot at you then stand on a block and rewind time to get up to its core.

To make the floating island mazes easier, just make the quest your objective and it shows you where the terminals are, go to the top of the island and you can just run to the terminal and go down from there, set a medallion to get back up top

Phantom Ganon suit in BotW was such an overpowered way of taking anything down. The dragonbone moblin clubs with 50+ damage with this suit plus an attack up buff would wipe things out very easily. Lynels were a breeze by flying at them, shoot them in the face with a high power bow to stun, land behind and wail away in circles hitting both back legs. They would go down before they knew what happened so long as you had max stamina. Love all your videos.

For the sky labyrinths there’s usually a wall that enables you to climb on the edge all the way to the top. If you have the quest active then you can just walk along the rooftop of the labyrinth and drop down to where the markers are. Saved me so much time!

I didn’t know that you could rip off the core for the constructs when I fought the Northern labyrinth construct, so I beat him without doing it. Fun challenge if you have the arrows. Some tips: > You can take off their “hands” in the robot form to neuter most of their attacks. I even do this when I deconstruct it now. > In the platform form, a bomb arrow can make it lower since you can’t launch as well as on the sky islands > Rewind can make a huge gap in the platform’s attacks > In cube, I just ripped off as many blocks as possible since the Construct Mk III constantly swaps its core with other blocks

Did you try ascending to the top of the M3s? If the core isn’t on the ground layer, you can casually spin and win without any risk. It then breaks apart and gives you more time to attack on the ground.

the sky labyrinths i just go to the ceiling via ascend or climb the border wall and then just jump into the areas needed(easy to guess where they are). also if you use the glide set there you just fly there.

I realized on the first one I tried that if i used the flight suit, I could navigate through them three times faster, and for going under the partial fences is way quicker because you just have to dive under them. I think the only reason I had it was because I found the mask, and decided to get that set before evil spirit. I also forgot to get to the rooms where you activate the sky maze by dropping down from the sky like you showed, except for the last one I did, which the south one. Fighting gloom hands and phantom Ganon was super annoying. I must have died 40 times trying to get past them on the other two labyrinths, but all and all, probably the funnest armor set to get so far. I also died another 50 times on the constructs, because I didn't have one of those 5 shot bows,q but I had a tip for beating them randomly pop-up while watching KZbin shorts that said you could beat them pretty quick by jumping on the blocks it throws at you when it's up in the air, and using recall carry you onto its platform, then you can waile away at it until it falls apart to the ground so can finish it off there. Omg, did that ever make it so much easier! On the first two labyrinths I would just climb out of the room when it went up there because I couldn't get it to come back down otherwise. Thanks for making this video, it was super helpful when I actually followed the tips you gave for getting through it super fast, lol.😅

secret tips for the gerudo sky maze. when you activate the first hand portal, right before the fence, there is enough room to use ascent and go for the next hand portal. not all the hand portal have this room, but the first is enough to place a teleportation mark on the maze's top. and by tiping this comment, i just thought using a ballon or a hoverboard to mark all the maze's top just could be something making them a lot easier.

Cool little fact about breaking ice without using any resources/durability: more is better. Go ahead and equip a shield and weapon. If you happen to have more, drop them on the ground. Minus the fire shield part, this also works in BotW.

There was another comment mentioning it, but you can just glide instead of using the paraglider to move through the labyrinths in the sky, also each of the pieces of the glide armor make you faster, getting to the point of being almost uncontrollable with the full set.

You can climb the dragon faces by the front of the labyrinth in the sky to get to the top as well. It takes some stamina but there are some pots that you can cheese to replenish it along the way. That’s how I did those.

What I've learnt doing the top right of the map first, was to drop a travel medallion (if you have the ability to) in the map of the maze in the sky. For subsequent mazes, all I did was travel back to the middle and run over to the terminals.

I pretty much do the surface labyrinths from the top of them and find them hidden entrance to the mazes shrine. North Lomei surface Labyrinth opened the gates when i used the activation control and I a fun little adventure climbing the shrine to avoid the gloom spawn. Have to thank the ruler of the labyrinth for that reward and spawn location.

Pro tip with the sky mazes the outer walls can be climbed and there are ledges all the way up to rest and recover stamina and the low gravity means you can run and jump across the top of the maze prelly easily at least in the akkala labyrinth

That cave for the east lomei labyrinth also has an entrance on the mainland so you could just go through the cave ascend up to the labyrinth and rocket up again to get to the shrine in case anyone gets stuck trying to enter from above.

I’m not very skilled at combat so I’ll always look for an edge. In the case of the Flux IIIs, I found a multi shot bow, hang time, and Gibdo bone arrows allow you to defeat them without ever touching down.

I think it’s important to note that all the Hyrule kingdom level mazes can have a chance of encountering Gloom Hands. Actually can’t say that’s true 100%, I didn’t run into the hands at the Gerudo maze (it was arguably more stressful since I kept expecting them any time I did anything, like a jump scare you’re expecting but they just keep prolonging it).

The most fun way to explore the 3 sky part mazes is definitely the Glide set I learned that the updrafts keep you up while in dive mode so you can just zoom around the mazes

You can climb up the outside of ALL the sky labyrinths. There's actually ledges to catch your breath on. Plop down a travel medallion and hop across the tops of the mazes. Easy as cake.

The fierce deity armour/barbarian armour I like aesthetically and will use them for regular combat. But the sinister armour. I will probably be using it with as an assassin build. With a Pristine 8 Fold Blade fused to a Molduga Jaw that has plus 10 Attack. And Pristine Korok weapons fused to Puffshrooms that have high Durability bonus. It’s over the top yes. But to me. That is beautiful.

It turns out the damage numbers are a little misleading as there's a hidden multiplier depending on whether you're using a one-handed, two-handed, or a spear. (100% for one-handed, two-handed are 105%, and spears are 75%) This is likely why the Champion Leathers don't display health numbers

To add onto this, red Bokoblins have 25 health. you'll need a spear with 34 damage to one-shot Red Bokoblins, 25 for one handed, and 24 for two-handed.

I just did these labyrinths, and I noticed that you can "fly" by free falling. Only in the sky, of course. Yeah, the wind is that strong.😊
