I have been to hundreds of concerts since the 70's including King Crimson in 1981. This show last Friday was one of the greatest I have ever been to. I am still on a high from it.

I saw Crimson in '81 as well. The Old Waldorf, S.F... I was priv'lage to all 4 shows. Spectacular to say the least. They were all Unbelievably Fabulous. Small personal club, 2' stage.. You & I were extremely Fortunate to have encounter'd concerts durring that tour & others similar. Thanx for posting 10/31/24~

@avodiablackheart6131 A friend of mine was also at that ‘81 show in SF, his first time seeing Crimson. We just saw the second show of this Beat tour in Napa 6 weeks ago. Great venue, incredible sound and an amazing performance! Didn’t hurt that we were surrounded by people with great taste in music, either. I’ll be seeing them again in Reno a few weeks from now
@willrichtor28 күн бұрын
Saw them in Houston and couldn't believe it. How often do you get to see a show where Vai is the one working to keep up? I got to share it with 3 of my best friends whom I turned on to King Crimson. Definitely one of the best concerts and experiences of my life.
@MochaDaisy86455 күн бұрын
Reno show was canceled, didn’t find out until after driving 2 hours, checking in and getting settled into our hotel room on the 9th floor. Vai has already agreed to yet another set of dates with Satriani, so this project is in the books. I think if Peter Gabriel decides to do another tour, that Levin will probably call it a career after that

Steve Vai has always been an incredible artist! He's managed to keep his playing interesting and fresh. Here, seems like almost a Jeff Beck kinda' thing. He's getting notes most of of have never even heard!😅 Congratulations and thank you for sharing/posting this super awesome clip. Nice camerawork as well✌️

I like punk, I'm especially a fan of NY Hardcore, but I love the Clash, The Police, Television, NY Dolls, the Stooges(proto punk I guess) Bad Religion... and the Ramones bore the shit out of me. BUT I've never felt that disparaging their music, which a lot of people love, made me feel any greater affinity for the music I DO love. So go sniff some fucking glue and leave the discussion to the adults.
