Just picked up a 2500 and checking out a bunch of your videos for tips on using it. Excited to add it into my ambient sets. Thanks for for all the MPC content!

Damn bro so simple but so much fun. You’re motivating me to sample more.

What about using time stretching to fix the gaps? I use an mpc 1000 and it has that feature. Just wondering if the techniques you mentioned are better than the time stretching feature with the mpc. Thanks

Yeah stretching is good too but I just didn't cover it since it's not something I've relied on much. Reason being that not every hardware or software has stretching, plus the ones that do sometimes have weird results and degraded quality. But if stretching works for you then use it for sure. Are you using JJOS?

Ok cool thanks. Yeah I'm using JJOS, I'm new and the MPC is my first piece of hardware. I really enjoy it, still trying to get the hang of sampling and arranging my chops so they sound good. This video really helped.

Nice! I know there's the time stretch option when editing a sample. Is that the one you're referring to? I'm planning on doing some MPC videos soon to show some tips....

One thing I love that Maschine has done is allow you to do real time time stretching and you won't compromise the sample or the sound even if you sped it up or slow it down.

Yeah Maschine's stretching is actually pretty good!
