It being drop-in compatible with the ifixit driver kits is really cool and the biggest reason why I'm suddenly considering buying one. Strong magnet and bit storage seems really neat, as long as it lays in the hand as nicely as the all metal ifixit one.

Flying to London England, for example, means it's serviced by half a dozen airports - but flying to London City Airport is much cheaper and actually IN London, whereas flying to Heathrow has more connections but is a good distance from the city (about an hour drive if memory serves me right). In 2015 I flew from Toronto to London City with a very quick layover in Edinburgh - and where the event I attended was, the airport, and the hotel I stayed at were all within about a ten-minute walk of each other. And landing in London City was a lot cheaper than Heathrow even without the travel time. With respect to buying used etc: Would you consider every so often a video about how to buy a used, refurbished, etc computer for people who aren't very computer literate? For example, I have an aunt who is looking for a laptop but she doesn't really understand computers well. She can get around in some office software, but as for hardware she constantly needs help. (She's in her late 70s/early 80s by now.) So a video from the perspective of someone who doesn't understand hardware would be a great place to start.

I'm an optician and have mine ordered! This looks like it will be so much more comfortable working on glasses with. Standard eyeglass screwdrivers don't give you a very good grip. I'm hoping the kit has small enough bits!

Please Linus we need a more reasonable shipping for Europe. Even if you would use Amazon logistics and ad the the Amazon marge it would be much cheaper for us

I agree, but he's talked about it before, even if they used a warehouse like an Amazon somewhere in Europe, there's still basically most of the shipping cost in getting it from Canada to the UK or Germany or wherever. And whatever they save in bulk would be used up in warehousing costs here + the Amazon margins and so the real different in cost to the consumer would be so slim that it's not worth it (although personally, I think there would be an advantage in it being fulfilled in a more reasonable time - EU shipping is currently like a month if you're lucky.) He also mentioned it adds dramatically more cost to get products made in China fulfilled to more than one place - so if it went straight from the factory to Amazon EU - the added cost still wouldn't be that different to the current shipping. Plus I don't think they have everything made in China any more, I think they were trying to get more and more done in Canada where they can.

I'm really impressed by Linus doing a great job being a host while at the same time assembling and disassembling electronics. Though I didn't really enjoy the challenges themselves because they were so skewed.
