How the influence of wrestling can change b.j.j. awesome shit!I don't get it why lots of bjj rolls in many gyms start off from the knees or kneeling positions while takedowns can create so many points!

@dlastmohican712 жыл бұрын
Danaher gives a good explanation of this in one of his free video with bjjfanatics. 1 reason is many in bjj are middle aged (not too many late teen or early 20 somethings can or will afford the monthly fees) and have jobs to go to the next day and unlike most wrestling, which has a "season", bjj not so much, so the pounding one would take year round will add up for a middle aged bjj practitioner.

I've heard Slide-by for this move, and Throw-by for another similar move, but where you take the back from going under their armpit.

How low can you set subscriptions? If you can do like a 2$ a month subscription, with a little extra content, I'd pay it.
@TeachMeGrappling5 жыл бұрын
You can set it for whatever dollar amount you want from $1 up. At this time I’m not doing extra content... I give all of it away! Whatever you feel it’s worth, I appreciate it! It keeps me making videos!
@ForsakenXennial5 жыл бұрын
@@TeachMeGrappling If you add a join option for 1$ I'm sure you'd increase revenue. Also the algorithm would recognize and rank you higher. I don't need extra content to join, but others might. There's other competitive grappling areas to explore. Dietary, meal prep, day in the life, gym tours, interviews, street grappling break downs. These can go behind a pay wall. If you decide to set a price just remember hulu, espn+, and Disney have a bundled subscription for 8$s. And that's alot of content. Thanks for everything.

Can you explain how to avoid getting picked up and slammed in a street fight? I tried looking at other videos on KZbin and everyone explaining it are a bunch of fake martial artists.
@michaelnero40335 жыл бұрын
I've avoided getting picked up and slammed in a streetfight my whole life by simply not getting into streetfights.
@arigilos85525 жыл бұрын
@@michaelnero4033 I've managed to find something. You just wrap your leg around theirs. It doesn't keep you from being taken down but it helps keep you from being slammed
@michaelnero40335 жыл бұрын
@@arigilos8552 yes, but they can still fall on top of you. But in general, the only answer to certain scenarios is to not allow them to happen. Of course, if someone sneaks up on you and picks you up theres not much you can do, and then you better have a technique to help you.

It's not everyone's game plan... and many throw bys at higher levels use the hand on the inside, not so much the overtie.
