It's always a great idea to make your own sounds. I've been doing this for awhile, and I'm constantly creating new Serum *patches* as I go along, and often recycle ones I have already created under other projects; maybe even editing them a bit and creating a "V2", etc. Especially early on, I was always "over-complicating" the serum patches that I was working on as well.

Man i really love you vids! You should analyze Mike Shinoda (from Linkin Park / Fort Minor) style of beats, drums, melodies, structure, etc etc etc. For me he's the most underrated but at the same time one of the most talented producers outside of hip-hop!

New vital user and my lane is pop country, have been wondering how some of the new atmospheric synth sounds used in the the genre now are being created…i.e. filling out choruses, add background interest to intro’s etc. Thanks so much for this, appreciate ya! on the brass pad, when my sustain on amp 1 in wavetable is set to full, i don't see how the decay affects that either way?
