Really appreciate the fact that you always explain sound design. Getting better at sound design is so much faster to finding the sound in my head versus endless auditioning of VSTs and samples.

These videos are never a waste of valuable minutes. You make me appreciate how important it is to know the basics, and know them well,

It's always a great idea to make your own sounds. I've been doing this for awhile, and I'm constantly creating new Serum *patches* as I go along, and often recycle ones I have already created under other projects; maybe even editing them a bit and creating a "V2", etc. Especially early on, I was always "over-complicating" the serum patches that I was working on as well.

this video is really useful, firstly, it contains a lot of useful and different information at once, and secondly, understanding such basic things that are shown in this video gives beginners a strong foundation to learn something newer and more complex thank you

Amazing video! The amount of hours I’ve wasted scrolling through synth presets and reverting to samples just to use these key sounds! You’ve made creating them so concise and simple - thank you!!!

Suuuuuper crucial!!! Thank you! Would love to learn the same type of information on synths that aren't so straightforward like Vital or Serum. Synths like Juno emulations, or Diva, etc that hace a different routing system.

A synth I was so disappointed that I never got around to for my sync career was Absynth. When NI discontinued it, my jaw dropped.

Man i really love you vids! You should analyze Mike Shinoda (from Linkin Park / Fort Minor) style of beats, drums, melodies, structure, etc etc etc. For me he's the most underrated but at the same time one of the most talented producers outside of hip-hop!

Man this is the video I’ve been looking for recently! New vital user and my lane is pop country, have been wondering how some of the new atmospheric synth sounds used in the the genre now are being created…i.e. filling out choruses, add background interest to intro’s etc. Thanks so much for this, appreciate ya! If you’re looking for suggestions on further content, would love to see one where you dive deeper into vocal chop production.

This video couldn't come at a better time! I'm more comfortable using midi now I've been learning how to use a synth. I've been tinkering with Ableton Drift and I think this would apply. What do you think about Drift and do you think you would make a video going over it?

You might add into your title not for producers who want to make quality Underground music. Just so you don't waste people's time.
