3:49 I was thinking about this lately. I have the same position and I struggle with thins like multi spit snare (just TK + spit snare). I would love to see another video about the position like you mentioned, because I think there are more efficient ways than the one I'm doing (bottom lip over top lip) Also shoutout to Bigman for having my favorite spit snare of all time lol. Sounds just like a clip
@Benben_Bbx3 жыл бұрын
I do my spit snare top lip over bottom lip to do fast tk with it. Works better. But this way you have to focus on making the impact in the middle of your lips and focus on the air going out from one or both sides of the mouth
@skillerbeatbox3 жыл бұрын
I will do new tutorial, when I got the 'kiss spit snare' :) As I said it is true that bottom lip postition is not very efficient, but It sounds much more powerful than the others. Thats why I use it :)
@mystamo3 жыл бұрын
Wow. What an incredible video SkilleR. Amazing quality and camera angles. Very detailed and so much mastery to the sound. Would be amazing to see some videos of you struggling and practicing changing the position of the spit snare. My spit snare steals the show from me doing anything else fast after. Terribly inefficient.
@skillerbeatbox3 жыл бұрын
I forgot to mention that this position for the spit snare is inefficient but it has one very strong advantage. It sounds much more powerful than the other spit snares. :) I will do new tut, when I have it.

As a beginner, I don't have a lot of sounds, so I tend to use the Pf snare the most of these. I've been trying the spit snare and get the general idea of it, but I can't get a nice sound consistently, so I'd need more practice before I felt like I could really use it.

If you are beginner, how many times you beatboxing?Or how long you do it?
@Rabbitrails3152 күн бұрын
Dang, you are literally one of, if not the best beatboxer I've ever seen. How long have you been doing this??
@FaerieHijacker3 жыл бұрын
It really depends on your style. Someone like Toj or River who make any snare musical, FootboxG who can drown your presence with spit snares, Colaps who punches you hard with outward K (but I believe he's using D) snares, Helium and Zero who are basically inward K drumliners, or D-low who has really strong Pf snares. If your style requires you a lot of breathing, inward K snares are still a thing to go, if your style relies a powerful feedback (especially on stage), special snares are for you.

For the bmg snare, i think its better for you guys to practice with lip positioning, the other way around..so, top lips on the bottom lips..instead of going up, the air will go down in this position..this is better postion for the fast combo..or any other variation,..trust me guys ..its harder to switch position once u have learned the other way around first .

Unfortunately i cannot do the PF snare because my broken tooth allows way too much air to produce the sound, my days of neighborhood street fighting tournaments fucked me there, became champion though so... theres that, i can only do k based snares, p based snares are way too breathy because no tooth = less air flow
