Dimash is the Most Skilled Vocalist ever!!! Technically and artistically that’s a fact. His versatility, wide range, stage presence, performance, background, technique, creativity, powerful and beautiful voice makes him all in one 🔝🔝🎤❤️🌹 The Singer , it was a Chinese show for highly respected singers to compete, Dimash was the only non Chinese singer invited because the producer saw him perform for the Chinese and Kazakh presidents and was very impressed. He is from Kazakhstan and was the youngest ever competitor in 2017 at only 22 years old. This was his first performance on the show and the audience went wild for him. When the show was broadcast on tv he had to have bodyguards for the first time in his life as he had become a superstar overnight in China. Dimash is a world class artist from Kazakhstan, turned 29 on the 24th of May but touring the world to sell out arenas with his solo concerts, he also performs in concerts with the famous Ukrainian/Russian composer Igor Krutoy, is constantly collecting awards, attends many prestigious red carpet events, film festivals and even models for lots of high end fashion houses. He is university trained in Classical opera vocals to degree level, also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz with a major in vocals, and now has finished his master degree in music composition. He started his doctorate in Musicology.He has been having singing lessons from the age of 5 when his teacher noticed he had perfect pitch . He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but respectfully turned it down to pursue his own more contemporary musical career. He is a multi instrumentalist, more than 8 instruments and also sings in 15 different languages and has a range of over 6 octaves from a low bass A2 to a high soprano, plus a whistle register with his highest note so far being a 5 second D8 with vibrato. He is widely recognized as the best vocalist in the world. He speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is studying English and Mandarin and has conversational skills in both but not quite fluent yet. He is kind, humble, generous and modest, very elegant and very tall, Dimash is 6ft 3, 1/4. Dimash recently moved to Los Angeles and he is working in his new album. ✨

I love it! This song is one of the most difficult songs to sing and made Dimash a mega-star overnight in 2017 (The Singer). The song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania' (1978) and is known in the English-speaking world as Tycoon (1995). That's how it all started: In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old). Only professional, award-winning singers participate. There is no end to Dimash's talent. You just watched a video from 2017. He has only gotten better and better. He is fluent in his native Kazakh and Russian with English being a third language he is learning quickly with a little Mandarin on the side. However, he sings in many languages. Check out Stranger. Be sure to make the video transparent because they often get hit with copyright. You are not going to find his equal. You only heard a little of his range in this song believe it or not. He also sings a host of different genres, plays various instruments, composes music, acts, raps, and even dances a little.

Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert! And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 16 or 17 languages so far). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄. SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. But of course you know the song😅. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. The gentleman at the end you see standing and clapping is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. If possible, always watch the videos from start to finish. Very often there are interesting things to learn. Either there’s something to laugh about, or he’s talking to his audience. He always thanks his musicians. He is incredibly humble and never acts like a star. When he is praised, he constantly says that it is thanks to his teachers and his parents, who made it all possible for him. He’s just incredible. I think that Dimash can beat box pretty well too, he often uses it when he wants the musicians to produce a certain twist to a sound when recording. He can do anything with his voice and I heard him produce a bit of the sound you made at the end. If you have watched 20 videos of him, we will still say : you ain’t seen nothing yet!

Thanks for your reaction! He performs in many different languages & many different genres and often loves fusing genres & even languages into one song. Since you’re a beatboxer, you might enjoy his song, “Be With Me,” which includes a rap section. (I suggest checking out his performance of the song at Slavic Bazaar 2021.) This is only a small sample of how phenomenal Dimash is. I hope you will continue to watch his performances on this show, "The Singer 2017. This is only the beginning. When he came to this show, he only spoke Kazakh ( he is from Kazakhstan) and Russian. His first four songs were in French, Russian, English, and Mandarin, with only one week to learn each new song for the week he was to perform. He was amazing. I like that you're branching out! I mean you can look at singing as 1 beatbox sound and I truly believe it would benefit beatboxers to look outside their community and it would also spark more originality. Gr8 reaction. Dimash is 22 in this performance so his voics is still msturing. Hs will b 30 next year 2024. And obviously his voice is pretty much matured. Hisever he is a highly trained and experienced musician. He holds a master degree in composition snd several degrees for other genres. He is THE total musician - plays more than 7 instruments composes writes lyrics etc etc He is Kazakh, is pitch perfect , he was invited to take part in this competition, because of his huge reputation in tge countries zround bis ow ie Russia belarus etc. He cud not win as a foreigner, following year they changed that rule. But the chinese judges ( the whole audience) spread the news of their discovery of Dimash's incredable talent to the world. And thus Dimash's career ecame world wide. And i am very grateful for that. Glad u will look at more of his very extensive Portfolio.. many of his songs are original, and his covers are nearly always re- arranged by him, even at his young age in this perfofmance the affangement was his. Cette vidéo date de 2017, donc attends toi à encore plus de perfection aujourd'hui, il a 6 octaves alors que cette chanson avait été créée spécialement pour Daniel Balavoine qui en avait 2 et demi, ce qui est déjà exceptionnel. Je te conseille 'Stranger" pour avoir un aperçu de l'étendue de sa voix, du plus bas au plus haut. C'est une personne extraordinairement talentueuse et humble à la fois, ce qui devient rare. You should absolutely react to more songs from this guy. He's literally so good that he rejected world's best opera theatres so as not to limit himself. I suggest "Opera 2" (Russian, Vitas cover), "Confessa" (Italian + a little bit of Mandarin for the audience, Adriano Celentano cover), "Unforgettable Day" (Kazakh, I believe he wrote that one himself), basically anything, you can't get a mediocre one with his talent.

Dimash is the best singer ever; with the things he can do with his voice! He was only 22 years old at the time and a wild card; plus the only foreigner. He was the first performer of the first episode. But this is nothing like what he is able to do now. But yes it is good to watch the episodes as all the contestants are professional established singers. He is just on a different level! Another singer that you should check it is Hua Chenyu of China. He is more the rap/rocker but also mixes genres into his songs. Start with Nunchucks, Great Sage Equal to Heaven, Jackdaw Boy, Bullfight and My Skateboard Shoes! That will give you a starting point with his entertaining command of the stage. While Dimash’s fans are called Dears, HuaHua’s fans are called Martian. Hey Alem, I watch your beatboxing videos. Good to see you on the singing side. MB14 is a great singer, maybe the best singer in beatboxing/looping. Dimash is considered the best singer overall. He doesn’t beatbox, but he can sing an electric guitar riff and many other sounds that would be useful in beatboxing. He takes his voice far beyond the limits of regular singing.
