For me, Dimash is by far the most amazing singer. Not because of his range, as incredible as it is, but because of the way he tells the story and transmits the emotions of each song. For many, he is a soul healer. He is a very versatile singer, by the way, and sings in many different styles and genres of music, from opera to rap, from growl and metal scream to staccato a la coloratura soprano.

Dimash is not only just his range, he's also a genre defying artist who sings anything from Opera to Rap who sounds equally good in all of them. He has sung in 16 different languages. he holds a bachelors degree in vocals, a masters degree in composition and is about to complete his PhD. This wasn't a competition, he was a guest performer. He's recently performed a duet with Placido Domingo whilst working together as judges on the European TV show The Virtuosos.

Dimash is a pretty special talent. I’ve seen many performances of his and he is an incredibly gifted singer. His range, as you just heard is off the charts, and you didn’t even get to hear his low, low end. Others can provide those details. He has an enormous following, which is well deserved. More than Dimash's range I love how he changes register, timbre, soft singing, belting, vibrato and singing styles flawlessly. Is he THE MASTER of singing? By far, yes! One may don't like the genre he sings, that's OK. But if one says he doesn't put his soul, or any emotion into his singing, he's a hater only. A clown who doesn't understand anything about singing (I did read it several times under Dimash videos). When I discovered him, back in 2019, I was in aw. And I'm a metal, rock, blues fan, not even into pop music. But I already did know this guy is special and since then I love Dimash (Also as a decent, humble person who cares about human life and nature.).

Congratulations, you just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He is a twenty-nine year old multi-faceted artist with a soul of a thousand years, who hails from Kazakhstan. He sings in 16 different languages (speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, some English, and a little Mandarin), plays 8 musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in musicology (has a Masters in composition). He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 7 octave 2 semi-tone range, has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble and kind man. His mother is an opera singer and his father is a singer and producer. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "Sinful Passion" 2018, "Stranger" 2021,"Olimpico" 2019 link on Igor Krutoy's (composer that came out of retirement to work with Dimash) KZbin channel, "Adagio" from The Singer 2017, "Ikanaide" 2021 Tokyo Jazz Festival, and "Ave Maria" 2021 at New Wave. After digesting those performances, I can't stress enough my recommendation for one of his most recent songs and music video (mini movie) the artistic masterpiece "The Story of One Sky" that he wrote the screenplay for and spent 3 years composing the music for, which displays a lot of his range (not all) and soooo many vocal techniques and dynamics, including sub harmonics, whistle register, bass, tenor, baritone, classical, jazz, pop, rock and unreal metal screams....and unbelievable dramatic acting. Each performance will leave you stunned. Thank you for reacting to our Dimash from a loyal "Dear" (fandom name given to us by Dimash, because we are dear to him like his family). His range tajes him below B2 and up to D8 which is obviously off the piano. He doesn't just reach D8, he holds the note with vibrato for some time. This can be heard on unforgettable day but tbh he does every genre from pop to opera but you always know it is him.

Dimash won this Slavic Bazaar competition in 2015 in Belarus, which set him well on his way to worldwide success. Here in 2018 he’s invited back as a guest singer, he is thanking the competition at the end for his big break. In 2021 he was one of the judges of the competition and he also performed a few incredible songs as a guest (first time since he had to cut his world tour short because of COVID) You should have seen how many bouquets he received on his first guest performance in 2021 (I think 100 is not exaggerating!) He is THE greatest vocalist of ALL time! Thankfully, he won’t sign a contract with the Satanic Western Music Industry as he wants control of his amazing music, he wants to be able to sing in all genres from Opera to Rock to Pop to Folk to Rap (and everything in between)! He has recently been working on a project with 16 times grammy award winner, David Foster, in LA. We don’t know what it is yet! His base and baritone registers are just as incredible as the registers you just heard. He is so much better today than he was in this performance in 2018 (and he was already perfect)! Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert! And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 16 or 17 languages so far). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄. He sang this song as a guest at the Slavic Bazaar in Belarus 2018. It’s an International Festival of Arts and a contest for young singers, which he won in 2015. SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. *The phrase „Sleep, child, sleep“ is sung in the musical as the character bends over the corpse of his girlfriend, who has committed suicide *He is very spiritual, but I think the wings are not intended to be angel wings. I think he is thinking more about the wings of a steppe eagle because it is the symbol of the Kazakh flag, which he is very proud of. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. To hear deep, try Stranger by Dimash, or even this song, SOS from the 2021 digital concert. He sings in many languages including English while being fluent in his native Kazakh and Russian. That being said he has become quiet proficient in English as well. Stranger is in English. That being said, you may need to make the Dimash videos transparent because of copyright and blocks. Best vocalist in the world. Buckle up because this is a small sample of what he does. Many languages, genres, composes, plays multiple instruments, acts, raps, and even dances sometimes.

Also, Kazakhstan National Anthem recorded at the Kazakhstan Presidential Palace to be shown on national tv after the Presidential New Year's 2024 speech to the nation shows his incredible low baritone/bass register throughout almost all of the song. Such a great honor for him to sing for his country. El Amor En Ti (first Spanish song he composed) is another great example of his low baritone classical voice. 🥰

You are true, although we all know "S.O.S. d'un terrien en détresse" belongs to the musical Starmania, in the bottom of my heart I strongly believe, this song was created just for him. In fact, it's the song with which the whole world knew him from night to day, on the "I'm a Singer" TV reality show in China, 2017. Because of Dimash's ability to sing equally well in every gene, the one thing he's taught me is how to shift out of my comfort zone. I would have said I hated jazz until I heard Dimash sing jazz. As a composer his ability to combine genres in one song absolutely flawlessly intrigues me. His latest song When I've Got You combines blues, rock and a little pop just for seasoning and blows all music preconceptions out of the water.

He is by far the best vocalist on the planet, and may be voted as soon as America Starts paying attention, the best singer ever. And it’s not just his octaves like you said. It’s the whole package. I saw him in New York in 2019. I’m hoping he’ll make it back to America this year. I won’t turn this treatise on Dimash into a book as I have already written some about this guy. There has not been a day go by since February 6 of 2019 that I have not listened to him. He has millions of fans called Dears around the world who follow him daily. He may have more Chinese/Asian fans, of course but the rest of the world is quickly catching on. I just found you and I'm glad I did 😊..Welcome to our beloved Dimash family ❤. I was lucky enough to have found him back when he first did SOS in China in 2016-2017 in the Singer Competition Show! Which made him an instant superstar! And I have been following him since. He truly is magikal and transcendental and everything else!😂 His range now is 8+ octaves but it truly goes far beyond what his range is! He currently has sung in 15 languages, is nearly fluent in about 5-6 now with his English etc. But this man is truly a gift! You haven't even seen the tip of the mountain yet! Love to see more! Ps. The only thing we truly stay away from is the world's best "show" he did here in the US. As it was truly a bad to worse situation from the beginning where they lied to him to get his participation and then treated him very badly when he did the truly moral and right thing 😢. Other than that, he is an absolute legend and the best vocalist in the world 🌎 Although he is also a composer, etc etc...We are his #Dears4Life 👋. Buckle up! It's a journey ✨️ you'll never forget!

Who is Dimash? I, and a few others, call him the singer of the millennia because the range of musical genres, and his vocal range, are like to other. From Kazakhstan, beginning his singing career at age 5 (he's 29 now, 2023), Dimash was accepted into the most distinguished music academy in his country. The world became aware of him in 2017 (when he was 22), during and after a Chinese singing contest called "Singer". His first digital music album "ID" went platinum in only 37 seconds after release, and 3x platinum in only one hour, and 5x platinum in only one day on Chinese music platforms In December 2019, he made his US debut in New York at the Barclays Center. Dears (those he calls his fans) traveled from 68 different countries, 43 states & 2 US territories, and was sold out. Now writing his Doctoral thesis for a PhD in Musicology/ Composing, received all his degrees with honors while simultaneously filling arenas and maintaining his performing career, a first! He has a bachelors degree in vocals, a master's degree in composition and is about to complete his PhD in musicology this year. Dimash sings in 14 languages, plays 7+ musical instruments, is a composer, an amazing vocalist, patriot, philanthropist and, despite his popularity and talent, is a very warm and humble person. Dimash 2023-Vocal range: Growls (vocal fry): G0-G1 Vocal Fry: G#1 - D2 Chest voice: E2-C#5 Mixed voice: D5-C6 Head voice: C#6 - F#6 Whistle: E7-D8 Natural range: E2 - F#6 4.2 octaves *Full range: G0 - D8 7.7 octaves To put it in context: He sings lower than bass in Opera. The lowest note is usually C2....and higher longer sustained whistle note. Total Dimash range is G0-D8. By the way, a D8 is a couple of keys past the high end of a piano. And, I believe his Vocal Fry is off the low end of the keyboard.
