Yeah man. Show-GO is just such an absolute joy to listen to. I really enjoy the super heavy people like listening to Remix or Azel, but at the end of the day, something this clean and cohesive would pretty much always take the cake for me as far as casual listening. I think with Show-GO you know the crowd reaction would also be there, as well. So wouldn't been too worried about losing favor for the crowd not being into it.

Show Go never leaves my personal top 3 beatboxers of all time. Not just for his ability, but his genuine love of performing and having people hear his music - it's not just about winning competitions for him.

@thepoofster22513 жыл бұрын
@@ARCANODESINE my apologies, I was prob a bit vague. Bigger intervals are vertically farther on a music staff so the term vertical gets used sometimes. Horizonal would be the time axis so it's kinda hazy and I may even be wrong in this usage. I guess a different way to put it is kinda like false fingerings on a horn but your throat? I donno, I'm too high for this hahah
@gunhasirac3 жыл бұрын
@@ARCANODESINE you can look “sideways yodel” up on KZbin and there’s a tutorial from like 13 years ago. Long story short. Normally you will yodel by jumping a octave or more up to falsettos. Sideways yodel is essentially doing the switching between mixed voice (not sure) and falsettos with nearby pitches or even inverse. Some other girl on KZbin mastered this technique and sounds exactly like auto tune.

to correct you what he did towards the end was not an anti-drop. simply because it was a really hard drop. just because it didn't have bass in it does not classify it as an anti-drop. a great example of an anti drop is in the first round of Hiss vs Dlow in 2018 kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4HPYWenp559rqs

Do you think you could try to decipher how Diana Ankudinova produces her subharmonics? Particularly the subharmonics while belting. Inquiring minds would really like to figure it out. Sometimes it sounds like Khoomei mixed with head voice, other times it's like polyphonic overtones but the fundamental is the high harmony, and then there are times where it sounds like subharmonic register minus vocal fry. There are also times where she does have the audible vocal fry onset, but drops out of it without losing the note. A few of her performances that demonstrate her subharmonics: Some kind of polyphonic overtone/subharmonic not using vocal fry. Wicked Game (Chris Isaak cover) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/bZvZXneHo8tli7s Vocal fry onsets, but drops out of fry while still maintaining the harmonics. It's the second song in the set. Take On Me (A-ha cover) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/o6GbdGyNrsd_rqc No idea on this one. It's like she's both ascending and descending in pitch at the same time. Rechenka (Russian Folk Song) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/aWanqKJqhrt_p9U I've heard her do a backstage rehearsal for this song and it's pretty much exactly the same with just a microphone and an amp. Human (Rag'N'Bone Man Cover) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y3zKdWlsa8uFqrs The fry is more audible on the offsets here. Blizzard - kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5CXnXmngLJmfaM Last but not least. Subharmonic belting. It is both loud and ridiculous in tone. Can't Help Falling In Love (Elvis Presley) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/g17dn3dshrCVqMk
