I’m actually the same I consider it as speech impediment my brain is so fast that I skip words and sometimes stutter. I think Ren is also the same I think he mentioned “stutter” in his songs a few times could be a clue I’m right.

This is one of the reasons why Ren's music is so amazing because he uses the words in his rhymes like they are the beat. His ability to use his voice and mouth like they are the instrument goes further than just singing and rapping beautifully on key. It's also why no one else sounds like him because no one else can touch what he can do.

Yes. Just yes! How perfectly described. Singing voice is the cello and the rhythmically rapped words are the drum kit. Absolutely brilliant. I am so friggin happy I clicked play on "Hi Ren" and didn't skip past it like I do so many other unknown videos on KZbin. That piece radically touched me and full on blew my mind, and blew my minds' minds in my mind as well. You just get it, hit the nail directly on the head. You move me and I might very well love you. Please do keep making music. I have enjoyed every single thing I've heard so far. Thank you for advocating for Us the collective mentally-in-need-of-slight-assistance.

Viewing singing and rapping as different instruments (especially the 2 instruments he chose) is both genius and also very obvious once I thought about it. But that’s why Ren is so good at what he does, his approach and understanding of music is next level.

I want to say thank you for sharing this interview. I feel like you opened up in this video about what you went through with your physical illness and I'm so glad that you found a path out of the resistance. It gave me a little bit of Hope to hold on to. I'm glad you were able to tackle this at such a young age. I am 50 and I've been working on it for 10 years. I live in the states and sometimes I wonder about our doctor / insurance system. You have to be extremely well off to go to a natural doctor and insurance won't pay for it. Most of the doctors go hand and hand with the pharmaceutical companies and I don't want to take pills. I just want some blood tests done to see what they find. Getting a regular doctor to do that's like pulling teeth. When you are sick for so long you do research trying to figure out what's wrong with you. You want some sense of normalcy like you used to feel. Seems like every new thing I find, I don't have a chance in hell of achieving because it is not accessible to people who are not well to do. That really pisses me off. I've even written letters asking for some sort of assistance. One of the things I deal with is that I'm a highly sensitive person and I think with all the physical elements it's gotten worse. I'm very very sensitive to chemicals, things in the environment, physical and emotional everything. You see all these doctors going on KZbin and explaining these things in natural terms and trying to help but then there's no way you can get into their services or pay for it. That makes my head spin. I'm not saying that everybody should get everything for free, all I'm saying is that there's someone who's fighting like hell to get better and can't even get a foot in the door. You start to wonder if it 's even worth it anymore. I think you are one of those people that SHINES!!!!! You are incredibly talented and creative. We go through hard times so we can share our experience with others so they don't feel alone. You sharing your story had a very big impact on me and I'm sure other people as well. Doing everything you possibly can to figure it out, having doctors snub their noses at you, makes you feel inhuman. We are brought up to think that doctors are gods and that's not the case. I'm still holding out for an answer. Like you, it's been almost 10 years. All I can do is hope for the best. I wish you much more healing and success.
