According to Biqtch Puddin, there was an Atlanta Pride where The Raven was told she could not do that number with fire because of some law Atlanta had recently put through & she was told if she did it, she would be arrested. So, during the number she acts like she isn’t going to do it & then BAM she goes to the side, does the fire, & at the end walks off stage towards the cops waiting for her & either during or as she is walking to them, flips them off. Biqtch has the video & showed it during Digital Drag Show years ago…

Yeah that first girl was always great - she usually performed as part of Charlie Brown's Cabaret at Backstreet. She set that hat on fire one night doing that flames on the stage part and ran to the back - Charlie roasted her for it but she came back out later and finished the number.

If you didn't know, the song from the first video is "Tonight is What It Means to be Young" from the EXQUISITE Streets of Fire. The song's credited as being done by Fire Inc., who also did the the song "Nowhere Fast". Both songs were performed in-universe by Ellen Aim (Diane Lane) at the end and beginning, respectively. Both songs were done by the legend himself Jim Steinman, who used the former for his Tanz der Vampire musical.

Raven no longer performs. She was one of the cast members at Charlie Brown's X-Rated Cabaret in "Backstreet" located in Atlanta, Georgia, which is now permanently closed. It was a 24/7 gay club in Atlanta. The cabaret/club was featured on an HBO special over 20 years ago that made it very popular. She currently moved back to Oklahoma. She still has an active FB page and goes under the name of Monte Raven Buttery. Her Drag daughter Kylie Sonique Love was featured on Rupaul's drag race, along with Allstars.
