When I picked up this car, the brakes weren't that great. In this video, I check the front and rear brakes before performing a fluid flush. Note: if you are not checking the brakes, some cars can be bled without removing the wheels. Obviously you'll get more clearance and working area if you do so.
MANDATORY TOOLS AND MATERIALS
-Cleanup rags
-Turkey baster or syringe
-Long flat head screwdriver
-Metric measuring tape or caliper
-Torque wrench/sticks for lug nuts
-DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid (one or two large bottles)
-3/16" (shown in video) or 1/4" ID CLEAR vinyl tubing
-8 mm socket/ratchet, flare nut wrench, or offset wrench
-2x4 wood block (wheel chocking, seized wheel removal, brake pedal backer)
OPTIONAL:
-Floor jack + stands or ramps (if removing wheels)
-Wire brush and penetrating fluid (rust removal)
-Rubber mallet
