Damn you were right, a lot of attacks can be blocked with the shield. I would have never guessed you could block the trolls laser that way. Thats an animation ive never seen before, pretty sick

A tip for using the horn is that you can hold block while youre attacking with it so if you get hit it'll cancel and block

Not that is makes a difference lol, but that weapon had a stat boost. The shovel and horn critted because you had a weapon with a crit chance. This also applies to non player attacks like hawksters peck. It's why some exp glitches require a clean weapon with no effects to minimize damage.

I don't know if this would work, but when you throw enemies at the giant during the boss fight you didn't win, I believe it does a bit of damage, about 2 or so, so couldn't you use the horn to throw the thieves at the boss, killing him slowly?
