wow this is awesome, it’s so satisfying when you pull off some particularly tricky movement

This was insane to watch, it's hard to believe that it was all possible. Dear god the tech, I can feel the carpal tunnel

I made a video about this a little while ago; it's great to see other people trying this challenge too! That room at the end of 2500 M is a definite pain, I'm honestly impressed that you managed to do it at 0.4x speed. 😅
@dovakingbling Жыл бұрын
The challenge was a lot of fun. But a lot of the rooms were much harder than I thought they'd be. I thought I was just doing a quick couple hour challenge. Not spending a couple hours on a single room 😅
@madlad255 Жыл бұрын
@@dovakingbling Yeah, I had the same feeling when starting out. Figuring out how to do the rooms is a fun challenge in its own right, but executing them can be a nightmare sometimes. And for some reason I've now decided to go for 100%.

I did a Celeste run with that variant. Found a room in Chapter 4 that needed 360 dashing, and another right at the start of Chapter 5's red half. Currently stuck in the last lazer room of Chapter 6.
@Enlightenment0172 Жыл бұрын
Holy shit you can do the room I talked about in chapter 5 damn
@dovakingbling Жыл бұрын
Yeah, some are extraordinarily difficult. Which is why I couldn't complete them all, despite them all being theoretically possible. I play on keyboard, so 360 dashing wouldn't have helped me either. Good luck on chapter 7, it's a doozy

Yet another amazing video! Looking forward to future videos

17:38 Maybe an up diagonal dash into the corner followed by an rcb (reverse corner boost)?
@dovakingbling Жыл бұрын
I did try this but it seemed like too much distance to cover without going down too low and dying. However it still could be doable
@Zicrus Жыл бұрын
4:04 This room should be possible without the grab keybind if you do the weird tech where you activate the block through the spikes on top of it.
@dovakingbling Жыл бұрын
Yeah, the video I saw used the tech with activating the blocks without touching the spikes. But it just looked janky and not fun to try and pull off. Using the build in grabless grab made the room much more enjoyable for me

26:19 Yeah that was pretty cool, like are you just discovering new tech as you progress? Tbh I have never seen that doublejump before. A cornerkick, yes. A doublejump looking like one continuous jump? No, lol.
@dovakingbling Жыл бұрын
The way I usually try and solve things is I try the basic tech that I know and slowly try more and more ridiculous ideas until I find something that works. Sometimes, the ridiculous stuff works, and i learn new tech myself. But if I just can't think of anything, I do look it up to see if it is possible

What is that move at 11:56
@dovakingbling Жыл бұрын
The move I used to get over that spike was a very well timed neutral, you need to time it just right so you neutral at the highest point of the wall so you can get over the spike

I'm more of a single-player kind of person personally. I only really play anything multiplayer if it's with a close friend. Thanks for the offer though
