the option to powerstance or dual wield is a godsend for scythes in ds2. theres a strategy to cheese annoying enemies i like to call the mantis combo, because the reach and shape of the scythe reminding me of a praying mantis, essentially just take two scythes _UNPOWERSTANCED_ and alternate their attacks till the thing is dead or youre out of stamina

Congrats on 10K!!! if you need a easy challenge to rest, try this one: Dark Souls 2 as a cat, using ONLY the Flying Feline Boots, cat ring and claws for damage

Your doing a fantastic job, the algorithm recently recommended you just after I finished ds2 myself a few days ago. I was so surprised that a new youtuber with only 12 videos has already reached 10k! I can't wait to see what you do next! If your looking for a new challenge run, why not a run of ds2 inspired by the fume knight machanic, use weapons, spells, and armor that run counter to the boss your fighting. Ie. Dragonslayer is fast and stabs, so you use slow weapons and try to fight him while heavy rolling

Youre probably the only person that got the heide drake to fall off. I dont think ive ever seen that in any playthrough. Also im glad you realized the power of the craftsman hammer. I used it in a challenge run video i did a few weeks ago and I was very surprised how powerful it was even when unupgraded. Lastly im SO glad (again) you did my challenges for mytha (19:48), freja (26:32) and the fume knight (54:01). Its very rare seeing people fighting these bosses like this. I hope your channel grows even more in the future!

Incredible job on 10k! If you want a semi unique challenge. Think of what pokemon type the boss is, and then use something that relates to that types weakness to beat them. Forces you to get creative Example: fist weapons would be fighting type which might be used against steel or rock type enemies (ignore normal type) I’d label moonlight gs as psychic

20:10 I got mad I was looking at a wiki to see if I missed any items before I fight the boss and progress to the next area and ended up getting the spoiler about the windmill. Out of sheer regret from knowing that I fought her with the poison and burned the windmill only later. Was probably the 1st ds2 boss I fought at that moment that actually took more than 5 tries. 52:10 The giant king, conqueror of Drangleic, the behemoth that towers above the fort, beaten by a soup spoon...No wonder he wasn't able to rest in piece and woke up out of pure anger. 53:55 This lady's masochism scares me a little...

People do not honestly understand just how much being part of the champions turns the game from enjoyable slog into a painful slog. Depending on the enemy you have at minimum a 5 percent increase to straight doubling damage they can do.

46:37 If bleed would take out the max percentage of enemies hp like in ds1 were it was 30% and for some other weapons 50% and 20% for bosses this would shred vendrick very easily but it would suck on enemies that have low hp and sometimes 200 flat damage befenits from this but physical damage exists anyway.
