Demon's Souls With Magic Only but NO MP Recovery

As the title says, I will be beating Demon's Souls (original version) with only magic, but I cannot use any items to recover my MP. Each level must be beaten with a single MP bar; spices, the fragrant ring, and crescent weapons are not allowed. I want to try to use every spell, so I will be duplicating boss souls in order to obtain every spell that is available. I won't duplicate anything else, and will also have a level limit to make it more challenging. This idea was suggested by a viewer, if you have any ideas for a run you'd like me to do, I'd love to hear them!

Yes all the wikis are wrong about plague. Not a single boss is suspectible to plague. The only exceptions are the bosses that aren't truly bosses. Namely the hoplites protecting phalanx and the old monk since you fight an actual NPC or player.

If you're having trouble with the Old King Allant (ps3 Ver) and don't want to do the run back every time, you can just quit and reload the game, for some reason it will just place you on the lower level of the elevator like it never happened, saved me a lot of time on my first run.

Tip for DS3, turn right in the undead settlement and don't kill the boss until you find the pit of hollows. There's an NPC down there who dies when the boss reaches phase two.

Very nice. I finished original demon souls emulated as well, and personally from the series I liked it way more than DS1. It aged way better in my opinion. As mage I mostly abused warding and I can confidently attest that it is stupid broken. You just dont die with it on. For my melee I used a +4 magic scimitar, and it did broken damage as well.

I thought of a fun idea, dong a DS1 relay challenge with multiple challenge runners. Each runner beats 1 boss and then they give the save file to the next, the challenge comes by them not being able to level up or change weapons and armor until they beat the next boss, the previous runner has to equip something else before sending the file. would be hard to coordinate but very fun to see a collab like that.

I played ds originally on the ps3, my bro sold it so once the remake on the 5 came out I crushed it again on a caster. I even did the white and black events per world. Magic in this one is pretty close to cheap especially if you start free aiming shots
