Before my sister got a wii for her birthday, i played nsmbds for most of my childhood and i spent around 2 years trying to beat that damn level. Final boss was a breeze

9-7 on the wii is undoubtly the hardest level but for real i feel like you either go painfully slow or speedrun thru it. trying to go at a moderate/average pace just cements ur fate and ur gonna die regardless of how cautious you are. this level used to be the bane of my existence (technically still is but much more manageable now) but now I can complete it fairly easy, the only issue i currently have is the second coin but otherwise i can usually get all the way to the firebros without taking a hit

I lost...ALL 99 lives to this level, that it literally broke me to tears! 😭 I actually cried from all of my lives wasted! And that's not even putting collecting Star Coins into account.

8-Tower 2 is ez, skill issue. I think theres harder levels but tbh can't narrow down which ones gave me the most trouble. Except the one with spiders where you have to use a mini mushroom to get the last secret area star coin.

If you ever do the same thing for the 3D Mario games, there’s one 3D World level other than champions road that’s HELL I’m talking about Piranha Creepers After Dark, you can only get starts by lighting torches placed in tough spots, NO CHARACTER CAN 100% THIS, STRAIGHT UP IMPOSSIBLE
