The whole captain toad aspect to this game is like the antithesis of what Taz should be about, ramming into things as cyclones and causing mayhem. That's like making a doom game where doom guy has to put away his weapons and has to talk to demons with a ton of dialogue trees or something haha.

I've never heard Thab this perceptibly upset with a game before outside of mahjong. Can't blame him though, this looks tedious and unforgiving. For a system that had so many platformers, it's shocking how bad many platforming cameras were. Even SM64 and Banjo-Kazooie had major issues.

Lol I know, it's so funny! As a kid I enjoyed playing that crappy Powerpuff girls fighting game Thab played a while back. I mean we knew it sucked, but it was fun anyway. We'd just goof around. I miss being a kid when you could just like.. "make up your own game" inside the game, create your own rules with your friends, and play "hide & seek or something inside the game.. and that was FUN! Can't really do that anymore :/

Funny thing, actual Tasmanian Devils are outright _cute_ and don't look anything like Taz beyond being mammals. Turns out also that their family dynamic is interesting; they're all solitary hunters, but communal eaters. After taking down prey, a Devil will let out a scream to let other Devils in the area know there's food, then they fight over the meal with the strongest getting the best bits of meat. Hilarious and fits a cartoon family really well.

Than you don't know far. Looney tunes were a big hit in the 90's here with flippo's/taz'O's. Tasmania had it's own big cartoon show with his family and a super catchy song

The characters look like skinned meshes instead of "sausage links", they animate well and retain personality, the textures look like the cartoon and the backgrounds evoke the "wonky" style that WB cartoons were using back when this came out. The draw distance seems absolutely fine for the way this game plays.

@@jhkuno88 From an N64 standpoint, the poly count is just fine and suites the art style very well. They have good silhouettes making them easily recognizable at all angles. Banjo and other Rare titles all had a similar art style where the main character's cartoon aesthetic didn't fit the backgrounds; like they didn't understand that you shouldn't blend textures in a cartoon and figuring that out on the N64 was too much work.

HSV Adventure Racing and World League Soccer are the same as Beetle Adventure Racing and Mia Hamm Soccer. F1 Racing Championship got an NTSC version in Brazil (while Brazil is PAL-M, the games are just US NTSC versions and will work in a US console).

The only Looney Tunes game I've ever played was Bugs Bunny Rabbit Rampage on the SNES. Man that game is so hard. I could never beat it. Its one of those games where if you lose all your lives you have to start all the way over from the first level.
