After some discussion in Threefolds discord we think that not only is uber enchanting spikes possible, its easier than anything else. Our testing seems to indicate that placing and breaking the spike again retains the enchant but removes the over enchanted tag. This would mean that you can functionally over enchant it infinitely since the quadratic increase in mana enchanting cost is bypassed. Give it a try!

Alternatively, he could craft the ore itself using the machines @Erhannis mentioned and use those to create an infinite resource loop - particularly useful in the context of Coal, surprisingly, because that would make it very clean and simple to automate Alumentum, which can be fed to an Endoflame for a bit under triple the power of a Blaze Rod

I would highly recommend long term using patterns for fluids rather than keeping them in stock. Level emitters poll the network contents every tick leading to huge tps impacts with many of them, and a backstuffed output hatch will cause similar issues trying to output to the network every tick. I tried to do factorio-style automation until ZPM but I had to switch all my chemistry to patterns because I was having consistent spikes of a single tick taking several seconds.
@houseofcrazyman8653 ай бұрын
By the way, for keeping things in stock with patterned chemistry I use level maintainers. They're basically a crafting card level emitter combo in one block, but they're much smarter and performant, and can be configured very precisely with batch sizes and item count. For fluids you just have to set the "item" to one of the fluid drops from AE fluid crafting.
@superkaeldev8613 ай бұрын
Or, just auto-output the fluids into some kind of tank with a storage bus on it rather than into the system with a level emitter. Saves the TPS problem, and also saves the channel for the level emitter. If a large enough tank doesn't exist, a miniature subnetwork with just a single cell to hold that fluids gets the job done just fine, and doesn't have the TPS problems because only that tiny subnetwork is getting polled, which is not hard on TPS. My attitude with automation and digital storage has always been to _never_ auto-produce any kind of resource directly into the main system, but into external storage or subnetworks with storage busses on them instead.

To help you build insane amounts of repeated structures, which I see you also love to do, you can use Loki's Ring dropped by Gaia II. It allows you to break multiple blocks or use RMB on certain places on multiple blocks, including, but not limited to, placing blocks. For some reason, Lexicon's description of it is very inaccurate so here's a guide from me: Set keys for toggling the ring, clearing selection and toggling mirror mode. Shift + RMB with an empty hand to first select source block, then to select outlined blocks or remove outlined blocks. Remove the source block to disable "anchor mode" because it doesn't matter without mirror mode. How outlined blocks work: They NEVER work if your hand is empty. Shift+Loki's Ring toggle key to enable breaking mode. If you break a block, the outlined blocks will also be broken as long as the tool you're holding is capable of mining the blocks (Disintegrate enchantment works appropriately, what's interesting) If you, while holding a block, do a RMB click on top of a block, the same will be attempted on same place of outlined blocks and a bunch of blocks could be placed (if a click happens on air, nothing will get placed, obviously). The same happens with any RMB action in any place inside a block, for example: flicking many levers, pasting settings on east item conduit connectors, coloring middle segment of an ender chest, I saw on YT video that it does aslo work on GregTech stuff. Things it doesn't work on are more of an exception, like warding blocks with warding focus or detaching a device using ME wrench, the ring sees it as just breaking the entire block. In anchor mod, imagine a vector from source block to block you're acting upon and then copy that vector to every outlined block, mirror some of it's coordinates if needed and that will find the block that will also be acted upon. In mirror mode the Ring is limited to breaking and placing blocks. Ring obviously requires mana. The lexicon says the mana cost scales exponentialy or something like that with the number of outlined blocks but from looking at the code I'm pretty sure that it's linear, you can break 25 chunks in a single swing if you want to. But placing blocks is limited by amount you can hold in your hand (there's a black hole talisman tho, so not really a limitation)

@@jakek8687 Tengam could be a blocker depending on if T9 planets are in yet, but before Tengam meteor change. Not sure if this version has space elevator, we rely on that as well. This version probably does not have Barnarda C tree from the bee, so radox will be a blocker (although I assume he will just update when/if he gets there). You're doing GregTech NH on top of RL Craft. You truly are a masochist. Love the series, btw

i don't think i would've clicked onto your channel and watched this series if episode 1 hadn't been called "Corpse Dirt" your wordplay is astoundingly funny, and this series is very entertaining
