Just for the sake of clarity, here’s the pinned comment from parts 1, 2, 3, and 4 answering any FAQs regarding the series! • Why are you using plant food if PvZ1 doesn’t have plant food? I didn’t think about this going into the challenge, but I’ll be sticking to using plant food due to how PvZ2 is designed around this mechanic. • Why won’t you use premiums from the first game in this challenge? The main reason I’m not using premiums is just to have strategies for this challenge be more accessible to everyone. *There are exceptions to this rule, I can use them in SD and LaL levels, and as Tier 2-4 plants* But I’m limiting myself as much as possible in order to make this challenge as fun and “freemium” as possible! *Also gem plants and Torchwood are exceptions to this rule.* • Can’t you use [insert plant here], they were in PvZ1 China? And what about [PvZ2 plants that function the same as a PvZ1 plant that isn’t in the game]? The way I see it, *plants such as Bonk Choy were designed as PvZ2 plants first, and were added to PvZ1 China later, so I’m not counting them as PvZ1 plants.* Iceberg Lettuce, while possibly based off of a scrapped PvZ1 plant, was also redesigned as a PvZ2 plant. As for plants like Gloom Vine, Ice Bloom, Homing Thistle, etc., I’ve allowed them for use, but through the Four Tier system. If a level is beaten using a Tier 3 plant, the level was technically completed using a PvZ2 plant that acts as a PvZ1 plant without the use of plant food. Whether you see levels beaten with Tier 3 plants as beaten with PvZ1 plants is up to interpretation, although the ultimate goal of this challenge is to beat as much as possible WITH ONLY Tier 1 plants. • Hey, did you know that you can change Peashooter back to level 1/obtain seed packet plants by editing the game’s files? I know that now, thanks to you all! However, I don’t want to edit my save files. I’ve had decent luck obtaining seed packet plants through the shop, and Peashooter hasn’t been significant enough in the run for me to want to edit the files. • I noticed you have [premium plant], aren’t they premium? Just for the sake of completion (and for the expansion levels), I’m trying to obtain as many PvZ1 premium/seediums plants as possible! Just because I have them doesn’t mean they’re “legal” for this challenge, I just want to collect them. If I ever use them, make sure to understand the context of to why I’m using them (which would be addressed or implied in the video when I used them (aka., the Four Tier system). :) I’ll update this with more questions and answers as I find more or come up with more. I appreciate any and all suggestions, but I’d rather you all have official answers before the next part!

I really love how you just casually shrug off impossible levels. A lot of other challenge videos will focus a lot on how the whole game is or isnt possible, but your style of just getting the game under this ruleset, every level or not, is really nice and makes the pacing feel good to watch!

It makes you pay a collective of $14.00 just to get the plants from World 1, the tutorial world of the first game. When more than half the roster of plants in the game some of which very important and extremely necessary for certain challenges are locked behind a paywall, that's pretty stupid. Also, as a pvz 3 play tester, I told them that that game was garbage, and they just looked me in the eye and said, "we'll look into it". They didn't look into it until after the entirety of the internet told them to change it. Then I play tested that one too. It's still pretty bad... When the level only lasts long enough for you to place down like three peashooters, you know you fricked up.

when I first found you I was surprised we had an interest in a lot of topics. PvZ is prob one of my favorite games. Also on modern day 30 you could have place a spike-weed on the flowers. When zombies step on the spikeweed they won’t hurt the flowers. But anyways nice vid❤

Perhaps you can try beating the game with only plants from other worlds? Example: cant use neon mixtape tour plants in neon mixtape tour. Exeptions: sunflowers, and lily pads.
