2 small bits of advice, cuz this was a very good video. 1) an intro to the challenge so that it doesnt feel as if i missed something cuz i didnt read the manga. Introduction to the team, maybe even when the trainer got the pokemon, something to give new viewers and context to the challenge. 2) since this is based on the manga, maybe give some info thats only in the manga; example being that blaine from red left team rocket after mewtwo event, or that lt surge was a member of team rocket, something about the character or town you enter. It would make it more interesting and make new viewers want to watch new challenges to learn more info. But still a very good video, laughed and enjoyed it

Awesome video!! I love the Gen 2 backsprites so much! Also definitely take the Rare Candy pill... I get the fun in mindless grinding in casual playthroughs, but when you're making a video, it doesn't really make sense to grind for hours

gotta love seeing the old games again pokemon gold was my very first pokemon game and i will never forget getting lost in the first major cave without flash and after an hour of trying to find my way out just to turn it off and on again without saving and the slightest amount of sunlight making it nearly imposable to see shit but also having to use the light attachment because it was before games where backlit fun times

I agree! As someone with a naturally soft voice, I get the struggle. And boosting the recording after will damage the quality. The best would be to practice speaking from your chest but that's hard af😅

Yeah. Mostly because he has an Aipom which is very weak but it can’t evolve in gen 2

Gold was never really interested in doing the gym challenge or becoming the champion. Honestly his team would be a lot more viable in HGSS where Togetic and Aipom can evolve.
