David Dumbraveanu ... I'm impressed with this video as you have caught the clarity and detail perfectly well without any camera-shake or wobble. It makes pleasant viewing. Well Done DD. I'm also extremely impressed with the detail and perfection of The Massed Bands of HM Royal Marines ... The music is excellent and a credit to the musicianship of all performers today.

They marched back down Birdcage Walk that evening but they did march back down the Mall on the 12th. I've been there to film them so a video will be coming soon in the following few days.

It’s beating retreat .. no,’of the’ or ‘the’ … it stems from the recall of troops from outside the city walks/ gates at the end of the day .. either by bugle or drum, now a yearly parade either by the Massed bands of His Majesty’s Royal Marines , or the massed bands of the Guards division
