the fact that one of the best clash royale players in the world struggles to play against random opponents because of evos just goes to show how supercell fundamentally messed up the game. they went from adding new tweaks and content in the game to just changing the game as a whole while also making it extremely P2W. its sad, really sad. they shouldve just made it a completely different game or at least a separate part of clash royale instead of implementing it in every aspect, making so many decks, cards and every champion (except the anyoing little prince) pretty much useless. i really liked the game as it was before when it was all about the strats and less about your credit card and the fact that i can never get back to that again is so frustrating and sad.

I don't think that's true in the context of this video. He made the choice to not play evos. You can play any evo you want in tournaments. If you intentionally make it harder for yourself, then complaining about it being too hard is just delusional. It's like playing knife only in valorant and complaining about the fact that you can't win without other weapons. Sure that's the case but you could just choose to play weapons instead. The real problem is the monetization of evos and that not everyone has access to them. This is not the case in this video or any tournament. The issue is that outside of these challenges and tournaments you don't have that choice and are limited to very few or in many cases no good options (even if we don't consider evos, this is also the case for levels in general). The challenges and tournaments are not an issue in the slightest and arguably the best and most fun part of the game rn. Because you can freely choose what you play there.
