The thing with megaspheres is, even if they top you off to the max you still only have as much health as a Caco. 400HP effectively is not that much.

Mee too, saw some of the first stream, then had to do normal family things, and many many hours later - stream #2 (redemption) was on - (WTF?) - then again - had to do social activities that excluded follwing the stream but joined near the end - no problems understanding that Decino was heading directly for the bed. Epic moment was him missing that Megasphere by maybe one game tick! 😱 😅

There's a 44 saves run of Okuplok by blueskull (using gzdoom!) which I could see being lowered to 30 or so using more strategic savespots without making things that much harder (not that I could do it)... Single segment sounds like a nightmare though, on account of how much time you could lose with every failed attempt. Cheesing the revenant hallway the way Zero Master did is a must either way.

Don't quit. Plutonia 2 is Hard but once you study with some patience the maps (like any random Doom wad) you will finish it too easily. I love plutonia 2, i can recommend to you Plutonia Revisited ;) very fun too.

Totally crazy, congrats! The feeling of beating a new hardest is like nothing else, if I were to describe it I'd say it's a mixture of despair from the flashbacks of abuse the map put you through/past deaths at the end and absolute bliss, all while your hands are shaking by themselves... To be honest, anyone can make a map no one can beat. The art is to create a good, balanced map with good monster placement that has hard difficulty that rewards good play and not RNG. This map has too much BFG RNG, imo

The best thing about doomgods like yourself is that you never give up, and I think that is the most important thing to be successful to be a "doom god." Huge congrats. We all knew you could do it especially after seeing "the 9" and the "1%". Had just those two attempts changed by a half second, it would already been done. I also knew you would because after those two attempts you got back into it. Took a lot of tenacity just to not stop the stream and come back later. And the Best Picture Academy Award goes to THE RUN by decino! Great job, man! I am not good at playing DOOM ... not at all... but I can see why this is the most difficult map to beat single segment. The arena fights look pretty fun, even the second fight seems to be cool. But then again there are these segments that will ruin everything within seconds. Probably not RNG based but difficult for the wrong reasons.
