What is your favourite summoning mechanic?

Love to see megalith winning, have you tried the springans variant of the deck? the only additions to your main deck is to include 1x tally ho, 1x springans kitt, 1x branded in central dogmatika, 1x springans branga (just need a lv 8 and its decent as a send off merrymaker in case tally ho gets stopped), and for the extra 1x merrymaker 1x sargas. It gives the deck an absurd increase in power whenever it can assemble 2 level 4s, and forces out most interuptions, (gets you to emergence + a lv 8 in hand before you commit to phul effect with enough material on field to summon an apollousa)

Haven't tried it, sounds good though. I have seen a Springans engine work in Crystal Beasts, but that didn't use Branded in Central Dogmatika of course. Will try it out in the future, thanks for the idea!

@@cognitivegrub0 based on what ive seen from the megalith archetype discord it seems to be the standard way to play the deck now, it even has FTK options with that package and lockout combos such as summoning an artifact mjollnir to your opponents field, tho I personally dont feel those are that optimal with how many bricks you have to play, but 100% the springans engine is a ton of extra gas

@frig7014 hey so can you tell me how branded in central dogmatika benefits the springans add ons to the megalith deck?? Because so far the extra monsters it gives me to put out more of extra deck is all it’s good for(but it’s helped ❤️ lol just want to know about that one card ?? Pls and thank you 🙏

@@makoniuluilakepa2300 I've been testing it a little and so far I've found that when you Ritual summon you can dump Herald, which will search you a card. But I've found it to be quite the investment getting to it though - so I can likely improve on my combos. It does give you 5K Apo's though.

Absolutely! I love Drytron, but I wanted to start with a 'pure' version (as far as you can call it pure with the Impcantations - which I am definitely not sold on). Next to Drytron, I also have my eye on Magikey, to keep it quite spicy.

What about plunder megalith? I've seen a decklist on ygoprodeck, but I'm having a hard time figuring megalith out

Hmm... that would be interesting, haven't heard of it before. I'm very fond of Plunders (and Megalith), so I will look into it. At first glance, the Plunder locking might be annoying to deal with. Hoping it will not be too severe of a limitation for this to work. Thanks for letting me know! Edit: I think I have seen the list, it is the one also combined with Runick and Plunder, right? Just by seeing the list I am not at all impressed. The way he has build his Megalith engine... triple Hagith when you only need 2 (and since his only search target is Unformed, you might just get away with playing 1) , only 2 Ophiel, no Bethor, no S:P. (prob too expensive for the TCG). Also, I believe that someone calculated that you need 15 Runick quick-plays (in a 40 card deck) to make it consistent, he is playing 12 which is not optimal. Plays two Fountains (I know, it is a TCG list) but no Hugin. Lastly, he is relying on Emblem to move into his Plunder ED monsters and is not playing the field spell, and the field spell is where most of Plunder's recursion is coming from. TLDR: it is a weird list with lots of inconsistencies, still interesting to improve upon though.

@@Pf4nni Definitely cool in theory, worthy enough to be tested (especially when running close to optimal ratios). I do think in practice it might dissapoint, but hey, that is what testing is for! I'm still very happy that you shared it with me, so thanks for that!

I played megalith+adamicaptor before, and now I play megalith+impcantation+dogmatika+branded in ocg card game, not in md I'm a big fans in megalith deck, and I keep do "cpr" on my megalith deck 😂😂
