oh god this is giving me ptsd from when i had triumvirate on high tide on this map... none of us had roller though so we pretty much just got pushed into the water repeatedly until we ran out of time.... At one point i had to jump on a slammin lid that was over the water because it was the only space left that i could walk on x_x

And still yet again… _not a _*_SINGLE_*_ gold scale for all of that effort…_ I’ll be longing for a day that a patch for Splatoon 3 comes out where they allow you to get guaranteed gold scales for clearing an Xtra wave (and also allowing the shift to continue when a wave breaker is active, even when all players are down.), and THEN my life’s complete. 💀

I get why they dont want it to be during the entire wave breaker since that's basically a free pass for everyone but they could at least make it give us a chance until the first wave is done or something, it's so ridiculous as is right now

With how egregious some of the prices are it'd be really nice if you got a lower amount of scales (mostly bronze, rarely silver) for completing normal waves and a higher amount for getting to Xtra wave/beating it

The thing about High Tide is that there's no space to move. Which is also true for the Kings so its easy luring lol

Cohozuna and Megalodontia takes up like two-thirds of the space on this stage at high tide. Plus with the remaining space taken up by regular Salmonids AND Horrorboros lobbing Booyah Bombs, you're gonna have like less than 10% of the stage unless you're really good at quickly clearing out lesser Salmonids and doing crowd control.

What happenes if the maws one attacks another king

So, this is actually a strategy used in Professional Salmon Run. Megalodontia (maws) can attack Horrorboros (The eel), and if you position it right, it takes out the Bomb in Horrorboros' mouth entirely, taking out a large chunk of it's damage as seen (off-camera) around 0:35. If you do this multiple times, it can eliminate Horrorboros entirely, leaving you with one less boss to worry about. Same goes for Cohozuna (fat fish), although it can be tricker with him considering you have to lure Coho into Mega's bite area. Source: I am a Professional Salmon Run player, have done this multiple times with Triumvirate rotations

Honestly, high tide triumvirate wasnt even as bad as i thought it'd be, out of 4 encounters on it my team beat it 3 times, twice at HLM (loss because grizz decided to be funny and hand out 3 splatanas and a roller). Still doesnt change the fact that the sheer amount of stress from every single encounter took away about 20 years of my life mid tide triumvirate sucks boros is impossible to kill
