Beating up a grown man yet again reflects on the subject of being together in an emotional relationship, risking doing that other someone harm and having to admit to your mistakes. In the song it’s stated that, like other things in nature, these motions are expected and can of course be seen as obstacles, like all stones too being bridges to someone. And from this guys’ point of view, he gets to admit that going to his knees isn’t easy. I would definitely rather prefer keeping up the image of being strong and a man of wealth, yet in these close and intimate encounters I can’t escape becoming poor, young and needy.
The video tries to image man and nature, man as nature.
